It sure seems to need more than that. A man’s career and reputation may have been destroyed (I read that in places (not here), often said with glee by those commenting). There should be amends made. Donations to charity in his name at the very least. Or MBC owes him a drama role when he’s done with his service.
The only form of apology that is acceptable to Yuchun should be done on national TV. He should not settle for anything less!
I fully agree! It seems strange to me on many levels, (I’m not saying prostitution or fraud are okay, but I’m speaking in comparitive terms.) that what Yu Chun is being accused of is a criminal offense, but deliberately destroying someone’s livelihood and dignity are not! Where is the justice in that?!
That sure does seem to be the question of the hour. lol Will it indeed? Is this what passes for justice and fairness if you’re a member of JYJ?
Sigh, unfortunately it wouldn’t be the first time a JYJ member would receive an “apology” as the only compensation for being royally screwed over if that were to become the case. Here’s hoping this trend will be put to rest with this incident though.
I have a horrible feeling it will be, which pisses me off no end… There’s a reason for presumption of innocence & Yoochun being innocent but having suffered such massive distress & possible damage to his career & his image is one of those reasons.
Reblogged this on annayooch's Blog.
It is really absurd that they were willing to air anything regarding him being guilty but they are not willing to air him being innocent.
Totally agreed.!!! You post, apology later & then just recommendation?? You shame people.
You are absolutely correct. We need media who broadcast proven facts, not faticious and stories which is eye catching. There is no media ethics at all. Not just for one particular artist, but making every korean media reports untrustworthy. There should be a heavy penalty to eliminate these bad apples. Only then, media can earn back their respect which they deserve.
Below is a link that I find very interesting. Let me know you thoughts and how we should respond as fans.

I’m not sure how long you have followed this writer”s blogs, but this is one person who changes tune depending on where the wind blows.
What she (I assumed it is a woman from her past articles) has rehashed in her article are taken from media articles with info that had been cherry picked to still cast doubts so as to keep readers guessing. Did she had access to police files? I guess not.
Has it never entered her thick skull that NOT A SINGLE ONE of these so called ‘victims’ had a rape kit done that would have proven beyond a doubt their allegations? If it were one or two victims, it may have been believable but FOUR of them, or even more if those nasty media had their way? Why did you think they stopped publishing more stories? It would have backfired on their ridiculous plot to frame Yoochun as a serial rapist if not a single woman had a rape kit done.
Mind you, these ‘victims’ are not children or innocent virgins out on their first date. They have the backing of their pimps who would have immediately surfaced as bloodhounds to extort money from this rich celebrity like what Miss A’s pimp did. Why wait half a year or one year and to surface after CjeS published a statement that Yoochun will retire from showbiz if found guilty? If I were to fault Yoochun or CjeS, it would be that such a statement should never have been made in the first place.
I read the article and I understand his overall point. I don’t think he’s wrong concerning taking personal responsibilty regardless of the technical criteria for rape. However, I’m not sure about how I feel in regard to connecting it to Yuchun’s case, because a lot of what he says specifically related to that seems as though it’s written from the perspective that he is assuming Yuchun is guilty of the charges that have been brought against him. Also, that Yuchun is the one that approached the woman. No one has yet established that he made the initial advances. I still believe, until I find out otherwise, that it’s just as likely she came onto him, hoping to have a way to get money from him… One way or the other.
Anyway, even though I find the article interesting, I have a mixed reaction from the standpoint of a fan, so I don’t really know how to respond.
Those are just my thoughts.
Also, I know it’s just wishful thinking perhaps and probably extremely difficult to cooridinate, but on a side note… I was thinking about the support videos fans have made for Yuchun and it gave me an idea. Wouldn’t it be really special, considering how many people Yuchun has touched through his songwriting, if some of his musically gifted supporters (I know there have to be many out there.) were to write a song expressing the love and good wishes we all have for him? Not something cheesy, but something heartfelt that would hopefully give back to him a bit of what he has given to others through his own music.
I don’t know if it’s possible. I just thought it would probably mean a lot to him right now.
Oops… Just realized I accidently referred to the author of this article as a “he”. I wasn’t thinking about their gender when I wrote that. I guess my brain thought “he” by default. Still, I should have been more careful. My apologies!
So what’s new in Korea…..
