The first female, who accused singer-and-actor Park Yuchun of sexual assault, has been handed over for trial on charges of false allegations and attempted blackmail.
It was disclosed that Seoul Central District Public Prosecutors’ Office indicted the 24-year-old Ms. Lee to detention under the suspicions of false accusations, when she said she suffered sexual assault after having sexual relations with Mr. Park.
Also, 33-year-old Mr. Hwang –a former gang member who had extorted money and other valuables from Mr. Park as a justification in this case– and Ms. Lee’s boyfriend 32-year-old Mr. Lee will be handed over for trial on charges of attempted blackmail, too.
It’s reported upon investigating that the boyfriend Mr. Lee had conspired to receive money from Park Yuchun last June 4th with the pretext for settlement money after hearing Ms. Lee’s words about suffering sexual assault.
It’s reported upon investigating that there were threats made; when they met with Mr. Park’s manager the following day [June 5th] together with gang-affiliated Mr. Hwang who was introduced by an acquaintance, when meeting with Mr. Park’s side every day till the 8th of the same month [June] after demanding money, and in having said they will let the media-presses know of the matter.
However things turned out contrary to what they intended and Ms. Lee is under suspicions of making false allegations with her accusations of sexual assault against Mr. Park.
The prosecution, like the police, are making a decision on Ms. Lee just having sexual relations and trying to reach an agreement with Mr. Park; and not having suffered sexual assault.
The prosecution are investigating toward whether the other 3 females, who had accused Mr. Park of sexual assault, made false allegations; following Ms. Lee.

I’m so happy to see this! Is it just me though, or does it seem strange that they processed her case so quickly but we still haven’t heard any updates on Yuchun’s case? Especially when there was so little evidence against him. I feel like I’ve been holding my breath for a month waiting on the good news of his acquittal. I’m praying hard that happens soon, so he can put at least the legal side of this behind him.
They probably focused more on her because of the gravity of the situation. False accusation, defamation, blackmail, gang related activities and gang connections probably weigh way more than Yoochun having a one night stand even if she’s a hooker. XD

I am not a lawyer but this is my way of thinking and that’s why I said right from the beginning when the police handed the case over to to the prosecution that they did so, so as to wash their hands off the case and not be accused of taking bribes.
If I remember correctly, the police case was a) that PYC engaged in an act of prostitution and b) that having received services he did not pay for services rendered as per agreement.
So now, the girl and company have been accused of blackmail and extortion, therefore where did YC engage in a) or in b)? I guess they are now waiting for the judge to pronounce the sentence, e.g. are they guilty or not of blackmail, and if yes, then there are no charges against PYC, they are automatically dropped.
They will proceed to the other girls and their cases. I am not aware of what is going on with those cases.
I was also thinking that the police turned the case over to the prosecutor’s office to be rid of it. I guess I just wasn’t expecting it to take so long for the prosecution to throw it out. The only sense I can make of it is that they had to do it in this order so that they could invetsigate all the evidence. Also, like you said, perhaps they are waiting on the judge’s decision in her case. Hopefully that won’t take too long. Yuchun does not deserve to have this dragged out indefinitely!

Anna Liza, I just don’t know how they will ever prove there was a bargain struck between Yuchun and Miss Lying Bittie. Yuchun’s lawyers will dance around that question like a ballerina on a music box. They will do everything they can to keep Yuchun from answering…it will be a she said he said. And I really doubt Miss L.B. wants prostitution added to her list of charges. I seriously, seriously also doubt a bargain Was Ever struck….she did a number on Yuchun and off they go to the bathroom! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Whether he made the first move or she did, I believe she knew from the start who he was and what she intended to do. He was a target from the moment she laid eyes on him. Either she seduced him, or she accepted his advances with the sole purpose of getting money from him, and NOT in the capacity of a prostitute! She had blackmail in mind all along. I’d be willing to wager quite a lot on that!
This fact we can hang our hat on! She had extortion on her mind either before or very, very, very soon after the seduction. I would say by the time the bathroom door closed on her fanny! Yuchun, I’m sorry you were such easy prey for this piraña.

Let’s say there was a promise for compensation for sexual favors rendered but there was no payment, how does one prove prostitution? How does one prove he intended to pay knowing this was illegal in the first place and could land him in trouble? There has to be quid pro quo, not just a promise or an intent to.
I doubt very much if Miss Whats-her-name would cop to the title prostitute, or admit this is her regular job. Who in their right mind would? And what of the establishment where this is alleged to have taken place? Are they not liable for using their premises for this purpose?
But based on what I’ve read so far, this could easily torn to shreds in the hands of a good defense team.

Well, W&C…….I’m not sure that quid pro quo applies here. Think about this: a man approaches a hooker on the street…he offers her money for a ‘good time’. The only problem is the hooker turns out to be a cop in disguise. She pulls out her badge and says you’re arrested for soliciting prostitution. No quid pro quo. If I’m not getting this right….please someone correct me. At least that’s how they show it on TV….lol,lol!

And if the phone call to the ‘friend’ was made after the extortion had begun….like Anna Liza asks….was the money she was ‘promised’ by Yuchun money for sexual favors or was it extortion money she was referring to? Having said all that…I believe you are very right….a good defense lawyer will be able to rip the charges to shreds! Ladies, it does look like the tides have finally turned in favor of our Mr. Park! I’m sure he is resting a bit more easily at night. 💤💤💤. Finally, some more good news! Hopefully the prosecutors will follow through with their words and make these criminals pay for all the damage they caused to Yoochunnie. Crossing my fingers this article is accurate in that B,C, and D are still under investigation because previous articles had given the impression that C and D were not going to be punished for their involvement. No matter in what order they pressed charges, the fact of the matter is that they all equally played a role in defaming Yoochun’s character so they should all be held equally accountable for that reason. Also Soompi,NB, Allkpop, and all those other poor excuses for news sites should be sued for continuing to publish conflicting information. Seriously, the only sources the press should be getting its updates directly from should be the police and the prosecutors so why on earth are there still so many inconsistencies in their reports? smh I so hope Yoochun’s legal team is just waiting to finish up with the women before they move on to suing the press because the media still seems to be as biased as ever.

Truly, I’m almost afraid to exhale yet, but it does seem time for (at least small) outward breaths. Likely others have too – and may have written about it without me seeing – but I’ve been watching the numbers steadily climb on the cjes m/v of “How Much Love Do You Have in Your Wallet.” That’s making me feel better too. Honestly, before this mess started, I liked Chunnie and thought him talented, but had paid most attention to JJ. Now, however, he feels like treasured family. Do others know how his mother is doing? Today I was googling “DC JYJ” and the results were nauseous. All the results were from 2016 june 16, 17. The damage they caused to Yoochun and to JYJ is indescribable. How can a “fan” be so…so…so irresponsible, so stupid, so childish, so mean…My God…I have no adjectives to describe what they did. I think their statement hurt Yoochun, Junsu and Jaejoong more deeply than anything else, more than the case itself. Has anybody identified them? Aren’t they undercover workers of SM? Antifans? Because I refuse to believe that they are Junsu’s or Jaejoong’s fans. Because their fans are very passionate (sometimes too passionate) but are sweet and reasonable and know how much they love each other. And know that if they hurt one of them they hurt the others too. They have already said this numerous times cause they are like family and the bond between them is very deep. I hope each of the members of DC JYJ who did this horrible thing in that precise context has already been erased from the face of the earth. Sorry, I am very angry.. Since Yoochun’s case appeared in the media I’ve tried to avoid reading anything from AKP, Soompi, etc., because I knew what I was going to find. I’ve been trying to learn, to teach myself, for awhile now but it’s a terribly slow go for me. I feel positive that this was a planned attack, with plenty of paid for people involved — but since there’s nothing (yet) to go on but suspicion, there hasn’t been much to do except fume. It seems a hateful, continued vengeance against JYJ. Yoochun seems to be, and have been, an isolated lamb vulnerable to some very bad wolves. Things are more hopeful now, but I’m still a bit anxious not just for him but for all three. And, for sure, Aja, Hwaiting!
