Ahead of its opening, musical ‘Death Note’ will hold a showcase at Jamsil LOTTE Concert Hall in Seoul on December 19th.
This showcase will be presenting live numbers where you can feel the overall atmosphere of 2017 musical ‘Death Note’ as a space to meet audiences first before musical ‘Death Note’’s opening performance, and marks the full-fledged beginning of ‘Death Note’.
Including Han Ji-sang, Kim Junsu, Park Hye-na, Kang Hong-seok, and Ben –the lead actors who are amassing anticipations as a perfect casting line-up– and an ensemble of other supporting and prior actors such as Seo Young-ju, Lee Su-bin, etc.; they will be making an appearance in each representative number. You can be see live first the sensational numbers of ‘Death Note’, like ‘Inside his mentality’ that is a representative number making headlines since its reveal in a music video recently. In particular, this showcase increase expectations toward being held in ‘LOTTE Concert Hall’, the best classical music private performance venue that represents Asia.
For the showcase this time, a 20-person orchestra will be joining the opening performance with the best actors and actresses as a musical showcase that attempts being done for the first time in LOTTE Concert Hall and adding to grandeur of the work. It is foreshadowed to be a unique, special performance.
A C-JeS Culture official said, “‘Death Note’ is a work that you can fully feel the atmosphere of the work’s message even with only its numbers. Ahead of its revival, we wanted to present its very special stage, from the collaborations of the new cast members to of course the harmony with an immaculate orchestra. At the nest performance venue, the ears and eyes will be having a fully blissful time”.
The showcase can be booked through Interpark Ticket on December 12th at 3 PM, and audiences who cannot take part in the showcase can see it even on a live-broadcast on Naver TVcast and V Live.
Musical ‘Death Note’ is making headlines as it tries to do its showcase at the musical industry’s first classical music performance venue. It will have performances at Seoul Arts Center’s Opera House from January 1st to 26th next year.
