These cakes looked yummy 😁
I’d like a J Holic mug, Please! 😀
I love the constellation tumbler & the elephant mugs & the totes, & those cakes look yummy!!!
i’ll just take one of everything! all the cakes and the mug please.
Lol! You’re my kind of lady! I’ll take one of all the cakes too please 🙂
we could be dangerous in that store then!
Make that four and double it and add some to takeaway, please :). BTW, we won’t mind the J somewhere in-between.or, even better, with the take-away 😉
This will be second on our list of what to see when we all get to Seoul! First on the list is……..Kim Jae Joong himself 😘😍😘
he’s gonna get mugged when he gets out! ok, how about one hug and one kiss for each of us?
Sis, as long as it’s not….give me one last kiss, give me one last hug! We would definitely want more of that!
you are so right! and there is no way its one last anything! this is his new beginning to to wow and woo us again!
I wish there was a thumbs up button! You guys cracked me up, but I so agree!! 😆😆
that means you think like us! lets all go meet him together to get our hugs and kisses and give him a few too!!!
WOW and WOO us……goodness gracious….we’re already WOWED and WOOED❗ What more could he do to us❓ I don’t know, but I’m soooo ready for it ‼️
Before starting JHolic and up to this stage I think Jaejoong studies and considers into his product development the demographic profile (like age, gender, marital status, race, education, income and occupation) of his best customers, his fans , so he can target his marketing efforts more successfully, to reach out to his fans, from students to working to housewives, rich or poor, from kids to grannies, everyone can have a chance to have a Jholic moment 🌻💚💚💚
5️⃣🌻🇩️🇦️🇾️🇸️ to go !!!

Greeting everyone a 🎇🇲️🇪️🇷️🇷️🇾️💚🇨️🇭️🇷️🇮️🇸️🇹️🇲️🇦️🇸️😍🌹❤️💛💚💙💜🌻
No wonder at every concert he asks how many are teenagers, how many in their twenties. etc, how many are married … The guy is collecting demographic info so he knows who his recipients are and target his songs and merchandise accordingly. Those broad shoulders of his carry not just a pretty head but a brainy one, too. They say men can’t multi- task. But, Gid, isn’t Jaejoong one great exception.
Merry Christmas Sgt. Kim Jaejoong …

Merry Christmas, JJ.
Waiting to see your first selca and first insta and to read your first quotes.
사랑합니다
Anna Liza, I want to learn the Korean alphabet in 2017. Let’s see….시링 is saran right? 니다 is neda, right? So the middle must be…..I love you spoken in jondaemal? Let’s learn the Korean alphabet together….we may not know what we read, but we could impress somebody! Merry Christmas….FIVE MORE DAYS❤️‼️❤️‼️
You missed the ng sound in the second syllable and the third syllable altogether 🙂
Saranghamnida
which is formal and polite
and which is more respectful than Saranghae = 사랑해 (informal, not polite)
Mind you, I am just a beginner, teaching myself but think at least in this case, this is correct 🙂
사랑 is love. 사랑합니다 (A pretty formal I love you – salanghabnida). Less formally is salanghaeyo 사랑해요. The least formal is how I tell my kids and granddaughter and that is salanghae 사랑해. The ㄹ is pronounced like a R/L. 니다 Is nida. The ㅣ (i) is pronounced like a long ee, like tree, all the time. The ㅇ is silent at the beginning of a ‘stack’, or syllable, as it is a placeholder denoting a consonant where none exists in a word or syllable. In Korean there is a rule that says all words are to start with a consonant or something. Clearly that doesn’t happen so they have the ㅇ as a placeholder or silent consonant of sorts. An example is 이름 ireum = the word “name”. On the other hand, when the ㅇ comes at the end of a syllable (bottom of a stack) it denotes an “ng” sound as in salang 사랑, or love.
Thank you, Beccah T., for the tutorial. My Korean friends tell me the alphabet sounds are easy to learn….but being able to decipher the stack will be a real challenge. That r/l sound is hard for a southern girl like me to master….lived in Japan for a while….I got accused of teaching the mama-san at a local store English, but with a southern accent! What I need is a real live tutor who I can call on when I’m stumped!
@Beccah Turner Thanks for this. I am only puzzled by the “b” in the middle. I hear it as “m” when spoken although in the written form I can see it’s a “b/p” not an “m”
that’s because certain combinations of letters don’t flow when speaking them so there are rules about changing the sound such as in hapnida the b sound becomes an m sound to facilitate the flow of speech.
Waaaah, color me impressed! Where’d you learn all that?
It’s 2:15 am December the 30th in Yongin, Korea. Wonder if Jae Joong is asleep?
ah you are so cute! i studied it seriously for many years however i can understand but still can’t make it flow out of my mouth very well~
@Georgia Peach
Georgia, the problem is not unstacking so long as you know you are looking for two or three letters. The problem is pronouncing them. They have 10 pure vowels, 11 compound vowels (diphthongs?) and only 14 consonants + 5 double consonants as opposed to the English 5 vowels, 19 consonants and two semi-vowels. They have around 5 variations of the sound “o” alone. Then as if this is not enough, they have the double consonants (p/b, k/g). That’s why the Romanji Kim/Gim are spelled the same way and you have JJ’s friend JGS somethimes spelled JKS (Geun/Keun). Park is also Romanized to Baek, etc. Strictly speaking (from our point of pronunciation) Jae’s name should be Jai because the last two letters are “a” joined to “i”.
At first, it feels as if Korean language is easy to learn coz when one listens to the songs one “hears” the individual sounds (unlike Chinese where I can’t even hear individual sounds). However we are deceived into hearing thru our phonetic experience and do not realize the subtle differences which become obvious in their written form.
Don’t let me even start on the contrary sentence word order. The long and short of it is that I have totally given up on learning the language. If JJ learns English we shall be able to exchange deep symbolic thoughts. Otherwise in my next life I’ll be careful to follow him and be born where he is and thus be acculturated into his language from the start 🙂
Wow, I am amazed at myself. Should I go and submit this as my PhD proposal on the phonetic system of the Korean language?
PS: I learnt English as a second language so was inducted into some theories.
Anna Liza, it certainly sounds like you have gone deep into the water of the Korean language! The Korean friends I made this past spring showed me how hard the language is. My southern tongue doesn’t move fast enough to ever be able to speak Korean….Korean with a southern drawl! LOL. Oh, and that reminds me of all the different dialects in Korea! And I agree with you about the Chinese language….to my slow southern ears….it all sounds pretty much the same too. Watched Nirana In Fire…enjoyed the story and all the beautiful costumes, people, and cinematography. But the language…not so much. Even after 54 episodes…I could only make out…fugi is father, mugi is mother and that might not be right.
But I don’t have to know a lot of Korean to appreciate how Jae Joong puts emotions into songs or how good he is going to look in his first magazine pictorial or how great he’ll sound singing at his JParty! Lordy, Lordy, the wait is just all but over! We are down to the hours. He’s excited too❗
wow anna liza p m i am loving your explanation to georgia peach! you are so good with words-am waiting for your book to come out. cause you could write one!
@koreamom Thanks for this explanation of the m/b sound. I wasn’t quite sure whether to believe my eyes or my ears. Yes, it would be rather hard to pronounce pn unless you put a vowel in between like in p’ansori.
You know, one (of the many) thing that I admire about Jaejoong is that he is a go-getter. He makes his mind up that he wants something, he may not be perfect but he will work at it to improve himself and will not stop till he gets it.
As for me, I lack the confidence and the guts to make my mind up, except perhaps when I took up this contract to come for this job in Africa. Now the contract is expiring in March and I can’t decide if I want to stay or go back to Europe.
That’s why I need a Jaejoong to push me along and help me actualize myself and my potential.
So thank you for your encouragement. May be I should take a gap year and write a book, after all 🙂
whatever you choose will be right for you! I wish we could all be at the gate waiting for JJ in person~
Koreamom, don’t you see Anna Liza and me there with the pokeons over our faces? I can’t stand it….what is he doing right now?
no way! you wouldn’t leave me behind now would you?
Just kidding…we would never leave you behind! The photos are out on the Twitter feeds. And Jae is AMAZING❗ Can’t wait for moving pictures so we can see the changing expressions on his face and see that long stride of his leaving that Army base behind‼️
oh yes! its time to study that lovely face again and never let our gaze go from him!
@GP It’s not that I know much about Korean but I have some theoretical knowledge of languages. I had not realized that a native speaker (including myself) doesn’t know much of their own language. I have friend who is Canadian (English) and has been asked to write an English grammar text book for primary school teachers. I am really amused when she asks me to help her explain some English grammar rules because being a native speaker she can feel what is correct but can’t explain why or base it on a working grammatical pattern. When I started learning English I was taught by a pedantic old fashioned and old spinster who used to give me rules and drill me to apply the rules. Gosh, was it boring. So I can now bore you with some phonetics while staying awake and waiting for JJ to appear out of that gate I imagine has been keeping him away from us.
Do we know that time he’s coming through those gates? It’s not even daylight there yet, but I imagine there are big crowds already. I bet he didn’t sleep a wink last night! I’ve been here at JYJ3 since I got up…..are we excited or what? Are you going to stay up all night? What….it’s 12:39 am 12/30 in Nairobi. I might not have to stay up until midnight tonight…it will be 2:00 pm in Korea. Do you think there will be ‘instant news’? Oh, if my family only knew how nuts I really am!
Anna Liza, would you tell us what your native language is? And let me thank you for your mention of me in your composition. Smiles for you 😁😁😁. Wish that could be given to Jae Joong? And I’ll be praying for you as you make your decision on your future.
@ GP @Jaechunsu says it is 9.30 a m
I just saw picture on Tunisian fan club. It’s pitch dark and there are so many already gathered by the exit.
ALL RIGHT ‼️ Now, tell me what website to plant myself on at 7:30 pm ……. EXCITED TO DEATH‼️❣️‼️
