:@ Eunice That’s why we are so determined to vote him in. If Junsu’s case is repeated, and now after the JJ Gallery has it in writing specifically that if JJ wins, he will be invited and given his prize, first, they will run out of excuses and secondly, there will be a clear case to write a petition to their MP’s and show them they are toothless dogs and should wake up into implementing their own laws.
I really hope this is true because you see, even after they have the JYJ’s right but still things keep on happen especially to them. It is heart-breaking and unfair even they have laws to help them. However, like you said, we need to keep on voting for him to win this ‘war’.
Everyone I’m really worried jaejoong won’t win, esp with SM known for buying/paying votes. Plus Shinee has a huge fan base too. I’m happy for shinee to win consecutive in the last few years but this year is Jaejoongs year. And shinee fans fighting back so hard because of not wanting to lose the winning streak pales in comparison to JYJ struggle in the last few years!!
Yet this is the year where Jaejoong must really shine otherwise it’ll all tumble down from here (terms of performing on TV etc and he’s own fighting spirit as a celebrity). After all, why else would he constantly have such small concerts? Its depressing how little confidence he has with his fans. But he knows he’s in his 30’s, and that while we are still faithful to him there really isn’t as much of us as opposed to three years ago. Plus there is little increase in terms of new fans (as opposed to other celeb).
And perhaps him winning might still mean no live attendance. But that’s fine since that still show that Jaejoong/JYJ fandom is still strong despite all hurdles. I don’t want them becoming like shinwha:(
Hence I’m going to donate $200 to the PayPal shown above. It’s a lot for me (considering I only spend $15 a week on groceries and never eat out) plus I have heaps of bills, mortgage, loans to pay. It’s sounds ridiculous, esp since it’s not like I’m sending the money directly to jaejoong
However, for any JYJ members to perform onstage; that’s priceless. We know the struggle they’ve faced. With him on military hiatus for two years, we all technically should have two years worth of savings. This isn’t including all the voting I’ve done on a daily basis with multiple accounts (only have 5).
Plus, honestly with us all being international fans how often do we attend his concerts? His fan meetings? It’ll cost me $1500-2000 to fly to Korea and buy/attend he’s ticket for crying out loud (not that I’m skilled enough to even snag one). And that’s not even including accomodation and food. I’ll be the first to admit that during the last 7 years I haven’t faithfully been following him (was too heartbreaking). Buying a cd/dvd/book every now and then doesn’t really count anymore.
Hence I’m grateful for all the other international/local fans who have done so. And I don’t expect THOSE fans to continue carrying the burden either. Hence if we could all agree to at least donate $50 days today, that would really make the best birthday present to our special Jaejoong.
Please remember jaejoong winning but still being banned will still give us news coverage. As opposed to not winning at all.
It’ll create actual awareness of the personal agenda SM has against JYJ currently in 2017, rather than, oh those useless fans making rumours/slandering other parties just because they didn’t get their way. Or ‘Oh SM may have pulled some stings back in 2010-12 but now it’s 2017, these fans just make excuses cause they know their dying out to the new era’.
We still have time!!!! Keep voting!! Fighting!!!!
I’ve voted all the avail points I can. Hence I stress it’s more important to send money to certain fan clubs to bulk vote!!
