Kim Jaejoong shockingly lost 9kgs of weight! He felt shy and dissapeared from the camera when hearing “You are so handsome”

South Korean singer Kim Jaejoong looks handsome, his voice is rocky but without losing the clear, he was discharged at the end of 2016, rushed to return to the music scene, and started his Asian tour… Exclusive interview with ETtoday, he learned taiwanese and smiled shyly, he is being in a good mood during the interview, he felts more tender and gentle than before his Military Service.
At the Taiwan Concert, the final stop, he expressed his different feelings before and after discharge though video. He felt anxious that fans might have left, but found fans are still being with him, waiting for him. In the army to learn the most valuable experience, “Life there has nothing to do with age, occupation, etc. We live, eat, sleep together, thus established deep relationship. I learned alot. That’s good experience”.
Whit a robust figure and 6 perfect abdominals muscles from debut till now, when hearing reporter praising the “good shape”, he shakes his head shyly “3 months after discharge didn’t go to gym and exercise, So I can’t say I’m in good shape now”. But he also revealed he lost 9kgs in one month, He feels successful to lose weight quickly,”Key to keep the shape is not to eat 3 meals a day, but to do more exercise”.
3 Merits, he shyly said “Too difficult”, Then thinking for a while “Seems like I don’t have merits”, Then slowly said “kind… of good at eating and not gaining weight”. (Smile)
“Many people don’t believe I’m 30 years old. I have good skin”, “Shameful (to praise himself)”, he admitted he doesn’t know what to do when being praised. So sometimes he bent down or even dissapeared from the scene.
First time in Kaohsiung, he also praided the Beautiful night view.
Learning taiwanese: “I miss you”, “You are beautiful”. “Than you” and he said the words seems very useful.
¨Planning to return as actor with handsome image, hopes fans can look forward to it.

“he felts more tender and gentle than before his Military Service.” Sounds like this journalist hadn’t met or really know Jaejoong before this interview! Jaejoong getting all shy when praised! He’s said before he thought he was ugly. 😦 I always thought his so called narcissism was more about insecurity of his extraordinary looks rather than genuine vanity. Although I do think he has a Leo Ascendant & possibly Leo Moon! 😉 & yes please to a new drama & OST. The concerts & fancams have been fantastic, but now that the tour is over I can’t wait to see him regularly again. & I would love a new album down the track too please! I can’t wait to hear what songs he will write & perform this time round after all of his experiences of the last few years.

Thanks 🙂 For me Jaejoong is too kind & humble, & way too interested in & curious about others to have the shallow self-absorption of vanity, let alone the cold, & often callous hardness of true narcissism. In fact having known a genuine narcissist, as in the psychological definition/disorder, I believe Jaejoong is as far removed from being one as could be! I think Jaejoong sometimes thinks he’s vain because he can be so concerned with his looks, but as I said, I think that concern comes from insecurity rather than vanity.

Captain Korea gained 19 kilos and lost 14 kilos while in the army. And now he lost another 9 kilos. Before enlisting he had gained another 3 kg. Therefore, 19 +3= 22 kilos of gain. 14+9 = 23 kilos of loss, ergot I got it right when I claimed he kept the promise he made at the Beginning of the End concert – that he would come back the way he was and will take care of his body while in the army.
And he did precisely that – bulking up muscle in the army to handle and carry heavy duty tasks, coming back to the athletes long and lean muscles he needs for the stage and as a model.
And I can’t remember how many times he has said it since he was 17 – food does not make him put on weight – he eats regularly. It’s only work outs that make him bulk up. And BTW, those deep dimples we love so much are back because his cheeks are no longer puffed up as he had said recently.

That’s a good thing, enjoy your food, eat to have a happy and healthy well being, it’s said that too much restriction on food intake and obsession over the number on the scale in unhealthy.

Haven’t watched Korean drama since Spy (or any other drama, come to think of it) So very ready to watch whatever drama is coming but since I expect it to be a romantic comedy, an OST with JJ serenading the girl of his dreams will be very desirable. Can we also have an album by June? .
