wow! it is so beautiful no matter the version.
Jaejoong’s Paradise defines the word EARGASM, seductive music that only JJ’s vocal prowess can give justice to it.

Lyrics and Music by Kim Jaejoong
I believe Jaejoong had initially planned to enlist in 2014 and wrote “Paradise” as his goodbye song. WWW was his first full album and the WWW concert was his first big solo stage where he was totally free to express what he himself felt, without considerations for other members.
At the concert he clearly said several times that he was going to enlist and pleaded with his fans not to forget him. Paradise was the last song at all venues and he sang it with the lights dimmed and avoiding eye contact. He told the fans that as they would not see him for two years, they should not look at him but only listen to his voice and keep the memories alive.
But by the end of the concert, I think, he felt he had just embarked on his solo career and had not left us with enough to last us for two years. So he postponed his enlistment and engaged frantically in a lot more activities, leaving us with plenty of memories to remember him by.
The concept for the WWW concert was the butterfly which he tattooed on his chest and drew on his abdomen the Greek letter Ψ (psi) which stands for psyche (butterfly). On the first two days of the concert. (in Seoul), he descended in a capsule which symbolized the chrysalis in which the caterpillar had hibernated till it was strong enough to fly. Like the butterfly, Jaejoong burst out of the “chrysalis” free and happy to do what he loves most.
As he ends the concert singing “Paradise” he goes back into the capsule (the chrysalis) to hibernate (in the army) till he is freed again. He was so emotional, on the first day he cried and he could not complete the song. Eventually the concept changed and he no longer went away in the capsule but went up into paradise.
Here is his first performance of Paradise with the butterfly tattoo, the Ψ (psi) symbol and the capsule (chrysalis) in which he leaves having beseeched us to keep him in our memories
Perhaps, my favourite live of Paradise
I cannot stop wondering how he manages to belt out those highs while lying on his back.
The lights dimmed, he told the fans to listen to his voice, not to look at him
