Hi @kris,..i like the introduction so much ..it is on point with the word “reinventing”…it shows how Jaejoong keeps breaking the mold and spark that light to set himself apart..kinda hard to maintain in an entertainment industry that image is all important..He keeps proving them wrong, his talent, his hard work.. and he’s a natural that it falls everything into place..his maturity doesn’t have to do with age but on more like how he looks ahead to grow admirably along the way showing his gratefulness of what has been achieved…that’s why he had been pioneering, always the first to do that..
mostly people have the misconception of copying the style or concept would have the same success rate..that’s the wrong mindset, it is a temporary, it will fail without consistency..you have to build from within you..
the most admirable about Jaejoong is…from within, he is passionate,he is sincere because of how he give out such performances to us 🙂
i think he was like a plant with all the grass around thriving strongly even in a harsh environment once nurture he blooms beautifully 😀
Very well said @Karenina, yes he’s a flower of a thorny bush, beautiful with those delicate petals but be aware of its thorns/prickles, its defense mechanisms against predators. Since day 1, under any circumstances he manages to thrive well. I remember one of our research before was to produce genetically modified variety (of coconut) to resist intense drought. Jaejoong is like a modified variety (the only one of its kind 😍) of idol/artist that thrive in K-entertainment with what you say “harsh environment”.
One example, recently this ranking is shared in twitter, I was like “HELLO, all JJ’s albums are there! blacklisted, to be there once could be a jackpot, a coincidence?, but thrice, it’s in his genes 🤣
Yes, yes..i am pleased that even blacklisted, JJ was able to gain this…you know..he gives you this fired up feeling 😀
I ended up promoting him…lol…a week ago i have dinner with a long time friend with her daughter whose into kpop (bts army)..her daughter was like ” oh my god you know about kpop” and the next thing is were exchanging fb account while my friend is giving me a big eyed stare ( thanks to you i couldn’t make it without your bts info 😀 )

Manhole will certainly be Kim Jaejoong’s lucky charm this year. This will be his introduction to the younger and older folks who missed knowing him. And this will be a super special treat for us who has been with him for more than a decade, who has loved him and will continue to love and adore him. But…. KBS world says it will start August 10. Other posters say August 9. I am confused!!!!! Aishhh I will just watch the tv teasers. I am antsy!!!!!
Manhole will air in KBS2_Korea on August 9 and in KBS World TV (subbed) on the 10th.
Thanks for the explanation of the 2 dates. I was confused too. Now I think I understand why Queen For Seven Days in shown on our tv on Thursday-Friday instead of Wednesday-Thursday.

Thanks for giving me info on where to get JYJ stuff. We went with jjeyelash directly to Koryo Bookshop 35W 32nd street and I got some albums and then we walked across the street and had samgupsal at a Korean resto. It was that easy. Thank you.
