no there is not JJ and you entertainers should not have that for your goal. the ones who love you do always and forever. i grieve for the loss of jonghyun also.
One’s cannot make everyone happy. That’s a sort of rule in this world so just focus on the ones you love & the ones who love you (us ❤ ) and ignore all the negativity!

jonghyun the lead singer struggled with depression for a long time and it beat him. he commited suicide monday. there is a video of his last letter which is painful and truthful. JJ knew him and i think since he is such a softie and caring person, he attended his funeral
Have you watched City Hunter? , I just realized that this OST song was by the lead singer of Shinee Jonghyun. I have this in my playlist since 2011. I’m not a fan, but I was crying reading news about him, during his funeral.listening to this song, how unfortunate for such a talented young man, may he rest in peace.
the world will surely miss such a special talented man. but at least he is at peace now and no longer fighting depression. i bet JJ can relate to that kind of pain cause he has had a few dark days in his life too.
It’s heartbreaking to think that with the fame and glamour of being a celebrity, he is dying inside. Hope he’d be happy in his next life (if there’s such a thing.)
being a celebrity is not so glamorous in reality and often it is a way to get recognition. but it is all so superficial without true inner worth. there most definitely is life after death. we will see each other again.
So true, it looks like more fame you gain more pressure follows, it could happen to any celebrity . The struggle is so unbearable. And if there is no where to turn, the only choice is to leave this world. Let’s learn a lesson, not to push our kids too much.
Yes I did. When I heard that OST I was thinking that if there were any kpop idols close to JaeJoong’ s singing, he was the one. Coz I can’t stand SM so I stopped listening to his songs . Could not believe that he was suffering so much that he had to end his own life. It was so warm for Jaejoong to attend his funeral and pay respect. What a loss for the music world.
Thanks, Kris for pointing this out. I’ve watched City Hunter and really enjoyed the OST. This song in particular was memorable because of the English parts. I had no idea it was Jonghyun sang Goodbye. Heartbreaking to read how much he struggled with depression and for so long. RIP.
I was stunned/struck by the news of Jonghyun’s death. It was terribly sad, and heartbreaking. However, that level of pain is able to be held back for only so long. I completely understand his point-of-view. I feel the same. We only have so much strength within us; only so much we can handle before it is too hard to continue fighting. My heart hurts for him, his loved ones, and those who loved him. I just wish I could trade places with him and he could continue on finally knowing happiness and peace.
