“ON THE ROAD” is an autobiographical film which tells the story of the actor and singer Kim Jaejoong, who has made his debut for 18 years. It was filmed by the famous director John H. Lee, who was behind the famous Korean movies, “A moment to remember” and “Memories of a war”.
The movie was released on July 2nd in Japanese territory and, posteriorly, in Korea on July 21th. It’s currently available on Amazon Japan streaming platform.

Having Gongju, the small town where Jaejoong was born in, as its initial scenario, the 1 hr. 53 min. long movie shows his journey of becoming an artist from his childhood dreams, to making his debut and becoming the global artist he is right now. Looking back on his present self and the distance he has walked in life, he captures the past, where he began to dream of becoming a singer. Through the film, he disclosed the true story, everything in his heart that he had never told before and feelings about different experiences in his journey.
In addition to starring the film, he also participated in writing and composing the title song “We’re”, as well as reinterpreting “Rain, Tomorrow”, the song inserted into the movie “The Eraser in My Head”. Furthermore, the music director Park Seong-il, who led the success of the OST for the popular drama ‘Itaewon Class’, participated in all the songs on the album to enhance the perfection of the work. In the movie, the original score, “Main Theme”, as well as classic songs are added to harmonize the visuals and add a sense of hearing.
The OST album containing 16 movie OSTs was released in Japan, Korea and China and can be bought in several online shops, such as Amazon, eBay, Ktown4u and YESASIA.
