The FNS Music Festival (FNS歌謡祭, Efuenuesu Kayōsai, FNS Kayousai) is an annual music show held among the Fuji Network System and Fuji Television since 1974, where various artists participate to perform famous masterpieces as well as the latest hits. One of the highlights of the program is an unexpected collaboration by the performers. Considered one of the biggest and most prestigious year-end musical events in Japan and it’s usually the most watched program annually.
This year, it was broadcasted live on December 1st and 8th for a total of nine and a half hours. Both days are hosted by Aiba Masaki (Arashi) and Fuji TV reporter Nagashima Yuumi. (via Tokyohive)
