[FANART] 120525 Yoochun in Rooftop Prince Part II
Part I here
JYJ’s Kim Junsu’s first solo album Tarantallegra is continuing to find success in charts abroad and has most recently placed in the Billboard World Albums Chart.
Recently, Billboard unveiled its chart ranking for the week of June 2, 2012.
Making its debut on the charts, Tarantallegra was found to have placed tenth on the chart. Astounding is the fact that Kim Junsu has not been able to perform any of his album’s songs in Korea and yet still managed to achieve this feat.
Since Tarantallegra’s release on May 15 the album has enjoyed immense success both in Korea and abroad and was even sold out in several stores.
Kim Junsu is currently on a seven-city Asia solo tour to promote and perform his solo album.
After closing the curtain on a successful production, the cast and staff members of SBS’ Rooftop Prince held a wrap-up party to celebrate.
On May 25, various online communities posted up pictures from the celebratory party.
The photos showed Park Yoo Chun chilling with the cast and staff in comfortable clothes, as well as presents and flowers given by the fans. Of the presents, the delicate cakes, made in the shapes of the drama’s characters were the highlight of the photos, grabbing most of attention.
Netizens who saw the photos commented, “Rooftop Prince was the best. Everyone, thank you for your heard work,” and “I can’t believe all the care and dedication put into the gifts by the fans! Incredible!”
The drama ended on May 24, solving the mystery of the dead crown princess and reconfirming Park Ha’s love for Lee Gak.
SPOILER ALERT. Stop reading if you didn′t finish the series!
From afar, the recently-wrapped SBS’ Rooftop Prince and MBC’s The King 2Hearts appear to be two completely different dramas with no relation.
Rooftop Prince was about a crown prince time warping into the present to solve the mysterious death of his wife, while The King 2Hearts was about the reunification of North and South Korea through the marriage of a king and a North Korean soldier.
When the dramas premiered on March 21, there was a battle of the ratings between the two, but a third competitor, KBS’ The Equator Man, soon climbed the ladder to take the top spot, turning the competition for second place between Rooftop Prince and The King 2Hearts into a battle of the two kings.
With just one episode remaining in SBS’ Rooftop Prince, JYJ has released photos of the last shoot.
The photos showed Park Yoo Chun carefully studying his script, while dressed in his traditional wardrobe, confirming his return from the present day to his rightful state as king of the Joseon Era.
In this scene, Lee Gak will be solving the mysterious death of his crown princess, which began the entire drama series. Read More →
