JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong was previously reported to be looking over a role as a lawyer in an upcoming drama but it looks like he’s looking over a variety of options for his first drama since completing his military service.

A representative from Kim Jaejoong’s agency, C-JeS Entertainment, stated, “Kim Jaejoong has been offered the lead role in ‘Man Hole’ (working title) and is currently looking it over.”

KBS2’s “Man Hole” is a comedy drama about a man who goes back in time to stop a marriage from happening in the present. The main character, which is the role Kim Jaejoong has been offered, is a man named Bong Pil. Bong Pil is a character who has been studying for the civil servant exam for three years and is known as his neighborhood’s token unemployed person. He’s an immature character who doesn’t feel the need to grow up and depends heavily on his father, who is a postmaster.

Meanwhile, Kim Jaejoong recently showed off his acting chops in Gummy’s MV for “I I Yo.”

The Gyeonggi Nambu Police Agency’s Special Promotions Unit (to be shortened to Gyeonggi Police’s Promotions Unit onward), who is responsible for the public order and security of the inhabitants of Gyeonggi, have prepared a splendid performance for the attendees of this year’s Brand Show.

Gyeonggi Police’s Promotions Unit is promoting their police officer activities at elementary, middle & high schools and social welfare facilities throughout Gyeonggi Province. It was founded on March 29, 2007 to ‘establish a sympathetic police force’ through interactions with residents.

Currently it is composed of 13 members of talented conscripted policemen including Kim Junsu from JYJ as one of its policemen; and since its establishment, they have been conveying enjoyment and happiness to residents with more than about 700 big and small performances.

Ahead at the Brand Show’s opening ceremony in the afternoon of the 3rd, there will be performed 3 musical songs, including musical Dracula’s solo song ‘Loving you keeps alive’ by Gyeonggi Police’s Promotions Unit’s Kim Junsu, and a ballad duet song ‘Doll’. We have learned of the sad news of actor Park Yuchun’s mourning for his maternal grandmother.

Park Yuchun’s agency C-JeS Entertainment said in the afternoon of May 2nd, “Park Yuchun is in mourning for his maternal grandmother.”

Continuing it was added, “Park Yuchun heard the news and is heading to the funeral home after he gets off work,” and, “He plans to participate in the wake with his mother”.

Park Yuchun is currently in the middle of his service as a public service worker at Gangnam District Office, and is going to be discharged (from his military service) the coming August 26.

JYJ Kim Junsu stated his stance in regards to hotel sale.

A representative from Kim Junsu’s agency gave the cautious stance to News1 Star on February 7th: “He learnt of the news of Jeju Toscana Hotel sale. Because Kim Junsu is not the one who does the managing personally, it is hard for him to give a detailed explanation about the situation regarding it”.

There was a transfer of ownership consisting of Jeju Toscana Hotel being sold the past February 2nd. Kim Junsu is Toscana Hotel’s representative director and investor, but is not running hotel personally.

Also, the official stance C-JeS Entertainment stated to My Daily on February 7th was, “In the course of today, Toscana Hotel’s legal counsel is arranging their position and will be delivering the details; so until then, we would like to request your understanding in avoiding the unconfirmed, overly-construed reports coming out about what the actual facts are,” in regards to Kim Junsu’s Toscana Hotel sale.

[NEWS] 160804 Police “Request arrest warrant for 3 people, including Park Yuchun’s accuser Ms. A..Did serious crime”

The police requested arrest warrants for the gang of 3 people –who includes Ms. A who first accused singer and actor Park Yuchun of sexual assault charges– with false allegations and attempted blackmail.

Seoul Gangnam Police Station’s side said to OSEN on the 4th, “We requested arrest warrants to book Ms. A who first accused Park Yuchun, her boyfriend, and her male cousin with charges of false allegations and attempted blackmail,” and, “We made the request for arrest warrants because of the decision that the crime was serious and not minor”.

Continuing, he added, “We should have decided in the usual afternoon whether to imprison them or not”.

Park Yuchun was accused of sexually assaulting Ms. A from June 13th. Following, it subjected an investigation when 3 additional women accused Park Yuchun of sexually assault charges and Park Yuchun was subjected an investigation to make an appearance to the police on June 30th. On July 15th the police did not bring sexual assault charges toward Park Yuchun but forwarded their indictment suggestion to the prosecution for charges of prostitution and fraud.

Park Yuchun’s side has accused the first complainant Ms. A with charges of false allegations and blackmail in return on this.

I did not know fully who Park Yuchun is. I was able to identify the contents and rather a famous Hallyu star where he was accused under the suspicions of sexual assault; when I looked at the search engine with the No.1 search word rising up in real-time on the Internet one day. Come to think of it, I think I saw it on TV too. Because I did not know Park Yuchun well, I am called ‘ajae’ [T/N: an old guy who has old-fashioned style] by those who see me. Anyways, Park Yuchun is being accused of charges that he sexually assaulted a female victim at an entertainment bar; in the toilet at said bar where he was having a drink at. The complainant is a working girl at that bar. Related reports about the case were plastered on the Internet and in the presses. The complainant makes her allegations after one week from the day she suffered the sexual assault, and retracted her allegations after a few days. But, as it is not a rape crime nor a crime subject to the complainant’s allegations anymore, the police are continuously conducting their investigation. Meanwhile all kinds of articles come up via the newspapers and Internet, and people who are so-called experts on comprehensive programmings spill out and create all sorts of speculations they can come up with. They kindly divulge in details contents that are worthy in prompting people’s curiosities and instincts about what kind of relationship the complainant and Park Yuchun have, who was together with him at the drinking party, what kind of business establishment that bar is, why the scene of the sexual assault was the toilet, how much did he give her in return for dropping the charges, and etc. Nonetheless, the case that seemed to have concluded with the withdrawal of the charges, rather developed into magnifying full-blown out. As soon as the charges were dropped, 3 other women filed their complaints back to back about having suffered sexual assaults from Mr. Park. The case amplified the public’s interests more, and got heated on the Internet and in the presses. Cameras trained their lens on Mr. Park’s agency and on the District Office where Mr. Park is working as a public service worker, and posted about Mr. Park’s every move. Mr. Park can barely come and go to his workplace surrounded by sturdily-built security guards. Caught between security guards, Mr. Park’s image is too haggard and the modifier of Hallyu star is put to shame. Any way the investigation results are, Mr. Park seemed to be condemned with a severe sentence already from the public. And after 1 month, there are reports that the police have cleared Mr. Park of all the 4 counts of sexual assaults in the case with allegations against him. However, reports about the acquittal of Mr. Park have been brief, giving way to different deep events; like the case of a senior executive official who compared citizens to dogs or pigs and the THAAD deployment. Now the presses and people seem to have no interest toward the dismissal of the charges against Mr. Park.

[NEWS] 160720 The KCSC, measures in regards to ‘PD Journal’ airing Park Yuchun controversy

Korea Communications Standards Commission (shortened hereby to the KCSC) has taken advised action in regards to having recommended for administrative guidance and legal sanctions; in connections to the subject of Park Yuchun’s sexual assault controversy that was aired on MBC ‘PD Journal’.

The KCSC introduced MBC ‘PD Journal’ on its item after holding the 25th Broadcast Deliberation Subcommittee special meeting in the main conference room of its broadcast hall in Mok-dong, Yangcheon-gu, Seoul in the afternoon of July 20th.

On this day the KCSC pointed out: “They launched a broadcast that lost its poise after overlooking the early stage where there were no concrete facts established when they aired Park Yuchun case,” and, “The program’s method of progress also led its broadcast, thinking the man to be guilty. This was a treatment that was against the balance”.

Following, they added, “The[/Park Yuchun’s] agency disclosed their reason through an email to ‘PD Journal’ side about an interview would be impossible, but it is as though they ignored the contact and thus it is a problem that they put out their broadcast,” in regards to ‘PD Journal’ side had not been contact by the agency.

The KCSC explained the reason for their recommended suggestions: “It was a subject worth airing but there is a problem with the production crew when they filled it with specific contents [from an ongoing investigation] therein”.

The police and the agency of singer and actor Park Yuchun –who’s being accused on the suspicions of sexual assault– disclosed their stances, about the news reports on his exoneration.

A female department head from Seoul Gangnam Police Station said to DongA.com on the evening of July 7: “The Park Yuchun case is still ongoing in its investigation. We have not determined about the charges or not”.

Park Yuchun’s agency C-JeS Entertainment side conveyed, “We are waiting on the police’s investigation results. We will disclose our stance after the announcement of the police’s official investigation results”.

In the evening on this day prior, SBS had reported that the police will be acquitting Park Yuchun of the allegations by 4 women. According to the media, Ms. A –who retracted having made accusations against Park Yuchun the first time–, her boyfriend, and her male cousin were found to have tried to receive 100 million KRW via intimidation of Park Yuchun, and the police is planning on requesting arrest warrants for the 3 people, including Ms. A, under the suspicions of blackmail.
