JYJ’s comeback concert has been confirmed to take place on August 9.
C-JeS Entertainment, JYJ’s agency, stated on June 25, “Having announced their comeback at the end of July, JYJ will be meeting with 40,000 of their fans at Jamsil Olympic Stadium on August 9. The upcoming performance will be taking place in four years since JYJ met with 70,000 fans over two days in November of 2011, increasing anticipation.”
In the middle of June, JYJ announced their return as a whole in three years, gathering spotlight from affiliates and fans around the world.
JYJ’s comeback teaser ‘The Return of the King’ has taken over newspapers as well as online portal sites and the teaser video also became the top searched word on various online portal sites, proving the public’s interest in JYJ’s comeback.
C-JeS rep stated, “Starting with the Seoul concert taking place in August, JYJ will begin an Asia tour, meeting with overseas fans, who have been waiting for a long time. JYJ will be visiting a different city around Asia every week in the later half of this year.”
Meanwhile, JYJ’s second full length album will contain tracks written by composers from in and out of Korea and most of the songs’ lyrics have been written by the members themselves.
JYJ stated, “We’re excited to be meeting with the fans with JYJ’s new album and concert in a long time and working with each other on music themselves makes us happy. We want to return thanks to fans by presenting a good album and performances.”
