K-pop boy band JYJ’s long-awaited new album “Just Us” reached fourth place on the latest Billboard world album chart on Thursday.
The global music chart is ranked in terms of sales data compiled by music sales tracker Nielsen Soundscan. Irish band Gaelic Storm topped the latest chart with its greatest hits compilation album, “Best of Gaelic Storm.”
Released on July 29, “Just Us” is the group’s second full-length album, released three years after its debut record “The Beginning.” The album is composed of 13 tracks including its title song “Back Seat” and “Valentine,” the 13th track which gained special attention for featuring U.S. singer Chris Brown.
The group also boasted its global power as an artist by ranking second in Japan’s Oricon charts. Not only that, the agency of JYJ, C-Jes Entertainment, recently announced that the number of preorders for the album surpassed 120,000 copies.
JYJ will promote its new album with a concert Saturday at Jamsil Olympic Stadium. The group is also to have an autograph session in Yeouido IFC mall on Monday to celebrate the release of its new album.

Kim Junsu′s second studio album Incredible has been toppling site after site and chart after chart in countries around the world.
Incredible appeared at no. 5 on Billboard′s World Albums Chart, which was put up on July 24. The chart combines data from America and Canada, meaning that the album is popular not only in Asia, but also in other countries.
His interview with Grammy decorated the Grammy site′s main page, and the video of the interview topped the site′s Trending Videos chart after getting the most views and shares.
In China, the music video for Incredible took over Yinyuetai′s Korea V Chart for the third week of July, following a no. 1 win on the site′s live chart as soon as it was released on the music video site.
This isn′t the first time Kim Junsu has appeared on the site as in April, he even won the Best Korean Male Artist Award at Yinyuetai′s V-chart Awards. The award was given based on V-chart stats combined with a global poll.
Kim Junsu will next stretch out to Shanghai with a concert on July 28.
Taking over one country at a time, JYJ’s Kim Jae Joong recorded high on China’s MV chart as well as Billboard.
Kim Jae Joong’s first solo album, I continued its reign on the Chinese music video site, Yin Yue Tai’s V chart for K-Pop for the second week since January 14.
Not only that, Kim Jae Joong’s name was found at the number two spot on Billboard’s World Album chart.
