Goodbye, 2015. Hello, 2016!
With a brand new year comes plenty of new resolutions, exciting opportunities, and… wonderfully addictive K-dramas! Which actors and actresses will get paired up together this year is anybody’s guess, but the endless possibilities are absolutely thrilling. Along with new couples who will send our hearts fluttering are those unforgettable couples we keep wishing would get reunited for a second round of action.
In no particular order, here are the couples we simply must see again in 2016. Let’s keep our fingers crossed for these pairings!
Park Yoochun and Han Ji Min
I have stories I can tell only to the people who have worked with me instead of a close friend or family.
Since drama <Rooftop Prince>, getting to work with young friends, my circumstances have changed. A friend like [Park] Yoochunnie was rather easy to talk to in the drama we did together not long ago. I still talk to those friends, even now, after finishing the drama and we each got busy.
Note: parts unrelated to Park Yoochun were omitted.
About Han Ji Min’s movie ‘Plan Man’ VIP premiere and in regards to Park Yuchun, she said, “I was grateful he could come even with being very busy filming for his movie and drama. That day we ranked high on real-time search keywords and he sent me a capture.”
I came to the premiere of <Plan Man> on Jimin noona’s introduction. I really enjoyed watching the trailer.
Hello, I am Park Yuchun. I really enjoyed watching the trailer and have great expectations. I hope the year 2014 will start happily with <Plan Man>
“I sincerely felt the most that I matched with my (female) partner when I acted with Jimin noona. For male partners, it was “wifey” Jung-Seh hyung.”
This is the time to praise Han Jimin.
“Thanks to Jimin noona, I could express feelings that I didn’t even know I had. She’s a partner who has learned me that acting a scene together saved those scenes rather than acting it all by myself. Just like the character Park Ha in the drama, she was considerate and took good care of me.”
She was especially of a great help during the shooting of the drama in overcoming the sadness caused by the loss of his father.
“While shooting the drama, I performed at concerts and suffered a major hardship so I was physically having a hard time. And noona stepped forward first and took care of me.”
The praising continues.
“Even at the wrap-up party, she treated the staff with such care that I really thought I met a good partner. That day, I was going to have an interview and noona came to me with a glass of soju and said “Hey, Park Yuchun! So you said I looked like a neighbourhood noona, huh?” then she scolded me to have a glass with her. (At that moment) she really looked like Park Ha. Haha!”
