Original Hallyu Star Kim Jaejoong was comissioned as City of Gongju and Baekje Cultural Festival’s Honorary Ambassador at the Comission Ceremony held on April 19th at the city hall in front of the citizens. Kim Jaejoong was born and raised in Gongju. He debuted as member of TVXQ in 2003 and gained unmatched international popularity, and is still very active singer and an actor. I would like to thank him once again for accepting this responsibility without any hesitation. Legendary professional player Chanho Park and Golfer Seri Park have been serving as Honorary Ambassadors for city of Gongju since August of 2015.

JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong gears to promote one of Korea Major Cultural Festivals, Baekje Cultural.
The Baekje Cultural Festival Committee of City of Gongju (South Chungcheong Provice) will appoint Mr. Kim as the Honorary Ambassador for Baekje Cultural Festival and the city of Gongju on April 19 at 3PM at the City Hall.
Gongju is Mr. Kim’s hometown. He debuted in 2003 and has maintained his popularity not only in Korea but also as Global Hallyu Star for the last 14 years.
The theme of 63rd Baekje Cultural Festival is “Meet the original Hallyu, Baekje”. The festival is scheduled to be held in the vicinities of Gongju and Ilwon area from September 28 to October 5.

JYJ Xia JunSu attended 2015 World Water Forum, stealing a scene of KBS news broadcast. The World Water Forum is among the largest international water event, and the 7th World Water Forum was held on 12th , Daegu, Korea. At the forum opening were major representatives, including President Park GeunHye (South Korea).
On the very day, JunSu posted on his twitter “presidents, kings, and prime ministers from all over the world gathered at the World Water Forum opening. I came to think we should all save water. By the way, simultaneous interpretation is so amazing”.
JYJ holds record of 2011 UNAIDS Asian Pacific goodwill ambassador, 2012 Seoul Nuclear Security Summit and 2014 Incheon Asian Game honorary ambassador. Including the World Water Forum, they are making good role model case as globally influential artists.
