The fanclub of JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong, who is known to be a warm and generous man, has shown that they are like the idol they represent.
Kim Jaejoong’s International Fan Union has donated 6 million won to help the victims of the floods in Thailand.
This is not the first time that fans have done something similar. In June, the Kim Jaejoong Fan Club “SarangJung” (welovejj.net) donated money to the Korean Heart Foundation to help a 14-year-old girl who was suffering from a heart condition as well as paid for heart surgery for a 1-year-old baby boy. The Jaejoong Fan Union (JFU) donated KRW 6,000,000 (approximately USD 5,300) to the Goodneighbors Thai Flood Victim Program. Below is their post on the donation:
Hello, this is JFU.
Dear Jaejoong fans, we thank you so much for your interest and participation in support-fund raising for “Protect the Boss” during the last summer. Thanks to your valuable donations, JFU was able to cheer for and support Jaejoong for his first Korean drama. All this was possible because of your enthusiastic participations.
We want to add apologies to those who made paypal deposits for unexpected refunds. Still, we believe that your love has been delivered to Jaejoong in its entirety.
As to the remaining fund after the final support at the off-air party, we contemplated over several options and considered a gift for Jaejoong. However, when we asked, Jaejoong answered that he was already so grateful for the drama support and asked us to spend it for those who are in much need. Thus, JFU decided to donate the support money to Thai flood victims suffering from severe damages.

Our Jaejoong & PTB production team are such nice & warming people ^^
The place was originally outside at the carpark and the tables and chairs were supposed to be outdoor but as it was rainy these few days, we were worried about the risk of everyone eating halfway and had to run indoor. Thus decided to change it indoor and there’s a musical fountain for accompaniment as well.
Finally it’s time to prepare the food and the side dishes were prepared on the spot too. The mobile lunch truck that we ordered this time does not use MSG and only uses natural and organic food. It seems that this mobile lunch truck was kinda fated with the crew of ‘Protect The Boss’.
We actually settled on the timing for the preparation of the mobile lunch truck earlier and Ji Sung actually booked the same mobile lunch truck to treat the staff two days ago. When we knew it, we got a shock too. The boss told us, “After seeing Jaejoong, he really seems to be a nice person,” praising him like this. We thought, “Ah, must have seen him on tv before!” It was later then we realised they came (to the set) two days ago. No wonder the staffs and actors/actresses greeted him (the mobile lunch truck owner) friendly. Jaejoong did mentioned to him two days ago that the food was very delicious and finished his food satisfactorily.
