K-pop is filled with boys that are prettier than the contestants in a Miss Korea pageant. By definition, a “pretty boy” is a male who has feminine, delicate features, and trust me when I say that K-pop is filled with men that possess the beauty of goddesses. The male idols who made our list today meet all the qualifications of being a pretty boy and today we’re going to take a look at some of the fairest lookers of them all.
JYJ’s Jaejoong has to discussed before we can move on to anyone else on this list. If JaeJoong was a super hero, his power would be to hypnotize enemies with his beauty. He is undoubtedly the prettiest man in the entire history of Korean pop culture and there is no one that can hold a candle to this man’s feminine anime prince like features. His sunken double eye-lids give him a sexy edge and the slight bulges under his eyeballs bring it all together. When he wears color contacts, it ups his features to an almost exotic level. His lips are perfectly plump with a shade of pink that make them irresistible to the ladies. He literally looks like he just walked out of a manga and came to life. JYJ’s JaeJoong is the ultimate pretty boy!
There is the old saying: numbers don’t lie – and judging by the counts of album sales, 2013 is shaping up to be a pretty stellar year for some of most highly regarded K-Pop artists.
According to Instiz, the site that compiles the various charts used to rank music sales in South Korea, these are the top-sellers so far this year.
Titled “Foolish Heart,” the soundtrack became the most searched term online in Korea upon its sneak pre-release during an episode of ‘Heaven’s Will’ last week.
Themed around the tear-jerking love story between Lee Dong Wook and Song Ji Hyo, the song contains everything from the subtleties of romance to the fragility of the human heart.
“Foolish Heart” was composed by Wi Jong Soo and written by Kang Woo Kyung.
The production company of the OST stated, “JYJ Junsu poured his heart out for the recording of this song and participated in the mixing work near the end of the song. He showed a lot of dedication and passion for this work. All the staff members were very impressed by what he did.”
This is JYJ Junsu’s third time working on an Original Soundtrack for a KBS drama. His previous works were in ‘Sungkyunkwan Scandal’ and ‘The Innocent Man’ both of which were successful.
“Foolish Heart” officially released at noon on May 15 in Korea.
JYJ Jaejoong revealed a self-cam photo that had fans melting.
Today Yesterday he posted on his LINE, “Winking is hard. Good night everyone. To those that live on the opposite side of the world, good morning!” along with a photo.
In the photo, he shows off his cute side as he tries hard to wink. He also shows off his milky white skin and good looks.
Internet users commented, “Such great skin” and “Like a doll.”
For someone who started out as an idol singer, Park Yoo Chun has quickly become a respected actor. He recently won his third popularity award at this year’s Baeksang Arts Awards. He is the first actor to win the award three years in a row and he can add it to his collection of trophies from all three major Korean television channels.
This year’s Baeksang Popularity Award was given for his role in “Missing You,” which received a 54.3 percent approval rating. The JYJ singer won the first time for playing in “Sungkyunkwan Scandal” and then again last year for his role in “Miss Ripley.”
“I’m thankful for receiving this great award and I will happily act to receive it again next year,” said Park, who is considering new roles.
An official at the awards ceremony credited the win to Park’s acting skills and his willingness to challenge himself, saying, “We believe the way he matures with every new piece appeals to his viewers.”
