C-JeS Entertainment will be establishing a performance production subsidiary company (C-JeS Culture) and begin producing musicals.
Since 2010, C-JeS Entertainment succeeded in launching a world tour with JYJ, increasing its competitiveness with various activities, such as an Asia tour, fan meetings, branding concerts and more. It also participated in co-producing and investing in the musicals starring Kim Junsu, such as Mozart, Tears of Heaven, December, Dracula and more, showing its interest in musical business.
C-JeS Culture has chosen the highly anticipated musical Death Note (producer Baek Chang Joo, director Tamiya Kuriyama) as its first project.
The musical Death Note premiered in April 2015 in Tokyo Nissei theater and was performed in Osaka’s Umeda theater in May. It will be presented in Korea as a licensed performance for the first time around the world in June 2015 at Seongnam Art Center Opera Theatre.
Meanwhile, applications will be accepted for Death Note audition from December 22 through January 5 through C-JeS Culture’s official website (www.cjesculture.com).
