This paper, with the help of Yes24, estimated the profits of the domestic authors, centering on the new works of this January to April that received the love from the readers. Typically, the publisher, as it releases and sells the works of an author, gives a “royalty” as the fee for the author according to the number of the works sold—typically, it gives the author 10% of profits. The standards of the royalties are graduated according to the level of recognition of the author or the level of degree or participation of the work, but in this survey we calculated with 10% which is about the average all around.
