Jaejoong: Wasurenaide is not my, not anybody’s song.
It’s “TVXQ” 5 members’ song.
I don’t want to sing it alone or as 3.

Former 5-man group, TVXQ and their grueling schedule has caught attention. This after initially alarming fans from SNSD’s crazy schedule, which was revealed last week.
SNSD’s written out day to day schedule recently surfaced to the online community. The schedule proved the hard work of current sky-rocketing popularity of SNSD, showing that they barely have a moment to rest from June 8th until the end of July. Some perspectives saw their busy schedule as not a sign of popularity, but more of a health concern.
However, the spotlight has shifted back a few years as the former 5-man TVXQ’s schedule recently appeared online as well.
Male vocal group Code-V recently sat down for an in-depth interview with Joy News 24. Although they’re still an unfamiliar name to most, they have a confidence in their vocal skills that puts any other rookie artist to shame. Reporters immediately noted that confidence, as the boys expressed that they were ready and willing to sing on request.
They were in the midst of introducing their title track, when they abruptly stopped to ask, “Do you want to hear us sing it live?” After a short on-the-spot a cappella performance, the boys went on to reveal that they also possessed dozens of different voice imitations to show off on variety shows as well.
This talented team is comprised of leader Sang Woo, ‘visual’ Sol, ‘chocolate abs’ Naro, maknae Taemin, and their newest addition, Louis.
Code-V initially promoted under the name ‘Bless‘ back in 2007 before making their debut with the track, “Addiction“, back in June of last year. Unfortunately, they didn’t meet the success that they had hoped for, and had to abruptly conclude promotions without attaining much in achievements.
“There was always a natural disaster following us,” they explained. ”We had to postpone our broadcast promotions because of the Cheonanham skirmish, and when we were preparing for our Japanese promotions, there was an earthquake in Fukushima. We’re sort of immune to everything now (laughter). In order to break that jinx, we persistently promoted in Japan.”
They continued, “While preparing for this album, we think our failures created a strong foundation for each of the tracks in it.”
Although they’re not quite well known in Korea, they’re already growing as Hallyu stars in Japan. They recently ranked first in a survey that asked Japanese fans to choose a Korean artist’s debut that they were looking forward to the most.
Japanese fans have been highly anticipative of the group for their vocal talent, especially for their resemblance to TVXQ in that they’re both a capella groups. As such, they were nicknamed the ’second TVXQ.’
Code-V commented, “We think the Japanese music fans see us in the same light as TVXQ since we promoted with a dance track, but our members are all vocally talented. A capella is also our specialty so we resemble them in that way. We personally like TVXQ and respect them, but as opposed to emulating them, we hope surpass them and show a color of our own.”
The members also added, “After TVXQ’s split, some of their fans came to us.” Sol revealed, “They say I look like KCM in Korea, but in Japan, they think I look like Jaejoong. When we go out to eat, some people even mistake us to be TVXQ.”
When told that those were rather dangerous statements to be making, the boys replied with aegyo, “It’s not something all five of us agree with.”

The Seoul Police, Kangnam Division, revealed on the 9th that that it had sent an indictment on the CEO of SM Entertainment, Youngmin Kim (40), to the Public Prosecutor’s Office in relation to the lawsuit that the cosmetics company ‘W’ has filed against SM Entertainment for defamation and obstruction of business.
Ever since the three members of TVXQ—Hero Jaejoong, Micky Yoochun, Xiah Junsu—filed suit against SM Entertainment for the annulment of their long-term exclusive contract with the entertainment management company, Kim has declared, “The reason why the three members of TVXQ filed this lawsuit was to satisfy their greed for money after investing in a cosmetics company”. For these words, Kim was indicted already twice.
The representatives of ‘W’ state, “The CEO Kim is attempting transfer all responsibility and blame for the departure of the three members of TVXQ on us and this has consequently gravely damaged our corporate image”. They also added, “SM Entertainment publicly threatened our operations in China with a civil or criminal lawsuit, which has incurred further damages and led to the loss of our security deposit.”
The police already concluded that “the three members of TVXQ filed the lawsuit against [SM Entertainment] in order to have their long-term exclusive contract with their management company declared invalid; their legal proceedings have noghitng to do with their investment in a cosmetics company.” In October of last year, the Court upheld the preliminary injunction submitted by the three members of TVXQ to have the effects of their exclusive contract nullified during the duration of the lawsuit. SM Entertainment continues to affirm, “we have never mentioned the name ‘W’ in relation to this problem and have thus never commited defamation.”

On “Immortal Song 2,” Why isn’t Xiah Junsu?
JYJ’s Kim Junsu who is acknowledged both in name and in fact to be person with the best singing ability among idols. He is distinguishing himself not only on the stages of pop songs but also on musicals and has sold out tickets in the tens of thousands and has received “Newcomer of the Year” award in the Korean Musical Awards and has taken stages (T/N: that have been featured on? The writer is mistaken here) Broadways and has so been recognized in his abilities. He is a talent who is not fit to be just treated as an idol who makes your hands curl, singing “I want to be your bed for one day.”
I won’t talk about the incident of the split of TVXQ that everyone knows. After the incident, unsurprisingly, JYJ’s appearance on broadcast is becoming a rare occasion. Park Yoochun is appearing in a drama but it is an outside maker, and the incident of the foundering of appearances in “On the Roll” and “Come to Play” causes much irritation to see, not just for fans but also for non-fans who are neither one way nor the other. The term “TVXQ” is a “name right” and therefore belongs to those to which it designates, namely the five members. In other words, the persons who own the name “TVXQ” are the five members jointly and not SM nor merely the two persons remaining in SM.
SM has repeatedly attempted to register this as their own right, but the Korean government rejected their applications for all those times, stating what we already know– the name TVXQ is not trade-markable by SM because it is a name that belongs to the persons to which it designates, namely the five members, jointly.
Therefore, Jaejoong, Yoochun, and Junsu — as co-rightsholder to the name “TVXQ” — have every right and power to object to the name’s continued usage if they wish either by SM or the two persons remaining with SM. They can do more than just object– they can sue and obtain an injunction (for the users to stop using it without their consent) and also obtain monetary damages. Nonetheless, as you will see below, Jaejoong, Yoochun and Junsu are respectful to the history of TVXQ as five — and in effect, respectful to the fans who loved the TVXQ as five.

On April 14th, 2VXQ guested on the first episode of tvN’s revamped talk show,”Taxi“, and revealed their honest thoughts on their group and on living together.
The boys were first asked about the split between JYJ and 2VXQ. Reflecting sombrely, Yunho stated, “I can’t say that it doesn’t hurt when the two of us have to stand on our own now. I know that the three of them are very nice friends and are talented, but there were a lot of people who regarded our comeback with worried gazes, and even criticized as to whether the two of us could make it work.”
Long-standing Malicious False Rumor Spreaders Will Be Taken Care Of Through Legal Means
CreBeau Cosmetics, which has been misperceived by a portion of fans on the matter of the lawsuit between the popular idol group TVXQ, has stood up to take strong legal measures against malicious fans.
CreBeau Corporation has had charged a portion of these fans – who spread rumors on not only internet blogs but various forms of internet communities false rumors that the company was a ponzi-scheme, that it manipulated stock prices in the tunes of millions of KRW, and that it used unverifiable and harmful substances as the cosmetics base – last year to the judicial authorities. Among them, for those who deleted on their own the false rumors, the company withdrew from pursuing the charges. For the other (charged fans), they have received judgments to pay fines of over 2,000,000 KRW (approximately 2,000 USD) and are facing a civil lawsuit.
