“Getting farther and father away~ I thought I’ll stay youthful…”
The new year 2014 is bright and everyone has added an extra year to their age.
Those born in the year 1986 want to avoid experiencing their climacteric age ending in the number nine and have made up their minds.
Representative stars born in the year 1986, JYJ’s Kim Jaejooong and Park Yuchun’s management company explained, “Kim Jaejoong’s Japan tour and nationwide tour was scheduled continuously throughout one year. He will meet his fans and dispel the superstition of the age ending with the number nine” instead. In regards to Park Yuchun, they said, “The filming for movie ‘Sea Fog’ ended and he has entered into filming for SBS ‘Three Days'” and “His various projects and acting will conquer the superstition of having a climacteric age that ends with the number nine”.

#Park Yuchun who targets both Chungmuro and Yeouido
S (strength) – stable acting skills, success of previous works, reliable senior actors
W (weakness) – body strength, schedule
O (opportunity) – movie and drama double win, “You Who Came From the Stars”
T (threat) – Joo Sang Wook, Lee Min Jung, Kim Hyun Joong
At the beginning, it was Micky Yuchun. But now it is more natural to call him by his real name ‘Park Yuchun’. Compared to the qualifier “group JYJ member”, the qualifier “actor” is also comfortable.
He was the lead actor right from the start. After debuting with ‘Sungkyunkwan Scandal’ in 2010, he acted in ‘Miss Ripley’, ‘Rooftop Prince’ and ‘Missing You’, foraying into various genres like historical drama, comedy and suspense. There was no “acting controversy” label that is commonly tagged to idol stars that turned to acting. Park Yuchun can be said to be the most successful idol-turned-actor.
His steady acting and the success of previous dramas landed him a great work. He is the main character in the new SBS Wed-Thurs mini-series ‘Three Days’ (script by Kim Eun Hee, directed by Shin Kyung Soo) which was promoted to have more than 10 billion won invested in production cost. Being specially chosen by writer Kim Eun Hee who worked with excellent actors like Park Shin Yang in ‘Sign’ and So Ji Sub in ‘Ghost’, he has gained even more credibility.
Pretty boy actor-singers JYJ’s Park Yoo Chun and Lee Min Ho faced off in our K-Pop Battle last week, and there was a sure winner once again.
Although Lee Min Ho made his foray into music with a mini album, it appears he’s no match in the K-Pop world for JYJ member Park Yoo Chun, who came out on top with 73.5 percent of votes.
Lee Min Ho had to settle for second place, picking up the remaining 26.5 percent of votes.
Admin’s note: parts unrelated to Yoochun were omitted.
The official SBS TV Twitter account recently shared a photo of JYJ’s Park Yoo Chun and actress Jung Yoo Mi who appeared as award presenters at the recent ‘2013 SBS Drama Awards’.
In the photo, Park Yoo Chun and Jung Yoo Mi are seen smiling radiantly for the cameras while dressed in their suit and gown, and looking very much like a dating couple.
The two had previously worked together on SBS TV drama ‘Rooftop Prince’ in 2012, and they finally met up again a year later at the awards ceremony. Before presenting the awards, the two had a chat to learn what they had been up to recently. Yoo Chun made mention that Yoo Mi had been with a guy younger than her, where he was referring to her stint on ‘We Got Married 4’ with singer Jung Joon Young as a virtual couple. Jung Yoo Mi answered, “I met a younger guy, and am having a war-like romance with him.” Yoo Chun cheekily said, “I’m also a younger guy,” as he showed his adorable and jealous image.
Fans and netizens said, “I want to see ‘Rooftop Prince’ again,” “They really suit each other.”
