I doubt its because of a lack of cdfnioence over their age or longevity as musicians. After all, they easily filled the Tokyo Dome as JaeChunSu for the Thanksgivings Live concerts. As a matter of fact, I believe they actually had planned to hold a concert there in 2010 but it became only the 1st of an endless series of blockade by the evil twins (S&A companies) against JYJ being allowed to hold ANY concert performances in Japan. Every possible concert venues they were in talks with suddenly cancelled or backed out of the negotiations for 1 random reason or other. JYJfiles and our JYJ3 itself both had detailed documentation of this pattern of interference, which A* company itself did not deny of doing. If you have 3hree Voices II, check out YC’s part again. There’s a segment where the owner of a small bookstore where YC was at admitted that he admires their music and YC immediately proceeded to invite that gentleman to attend JYJ’s upcoming concert there. However shortly after the filming, YC suddenly put out an inexplicably sad twit (after some optimistic cheery ones about revisiting Japan and filming 3hree Voices II), something to the effect of I’m not well which he then deleted. Fans were very concerned about the abrupt change in his mood but YC never explained. That planned Japanese concert also never materialized.Months later, Japanese insiders associated with the filming of 3hree Voices II disclosed that it was during their filming when they 1st learned about the deliberate mass-blockade launched Japan-wide by the evil twins and also when they 1st found out that Tokyo Dome is for all intent and purposes now closed to JYJ, as were so many other venues like Saitama (where they had performed their T-tour concert) etc. Many fans thought this probably explained the sadness behind YC’s deleted twit and also possibly the tears you see on each of their faces at the end of their individual segments. So I think it is more of a professional-business-political impossibility than any mental/psychological barriers. If there’s 2 things we know about JYJ its their non-conformity and will. Even though once in a while I get flashes of their Idol personas (after all they lived and breathed it for >9years), come decision-times they still marched to the rhythm of their own principles and in the direction of their moral compass. So as long as JYJ keep the faith (as they themselves had interpreted that phrase) plus continue to develop their musical crafts AND as long as we fans support their endeavors on this seemingly impossible journey, I believe they’ll eventually get to all the places they hope for, including Tokyo Dome.(Sorry for the rambling but I’m wiped out after work and can’t organize my thoughts better)
