Dear readers,
With a heavy heart, we are bound to deliver to you the sudden sore passing of Mia, JYJ3.net website’s founder and main admin, last February 5th, following a failed surgery.
Mia was a bright and youthful lady, a loved daughter and sister, and from the other side of the world, an iconic Jaejoong supporter, the reason why she launched JYJ3.net twelve years ago. Through the blog, she and her team worked to keep her fellow international fans of JYJ well-updated about the activities of the members, their journey in battling for their fundamental human rights, as well as their triumph and their massive contribution in making the Korean entertainment industry a better environment for the generation of Korean idols to come, and most importantly their metamorphose to well accomplished and distinguished artists.
Despite episodes of illness & suffering, Mia never gave up and has been there for the fandom till the end, it was her source of comfort and joy, and it’s been an electrifying ride, worth a thrilling novel!
Plenty of moments & words are plummeting right now, and to brief it, we will miss you and you’ll always be in our hearts Mia.
Rest in peace,
JYJ3 community & JYJ3 Team.
~N.B: Besides the comments section, you can send your words of condolences or support by tagging Mia’s Twitter account @visualshock33 which is managed by her family as of now.~

Thank you for this lovely touching obituary….Miss Mia was a true “conductor”… she created a community for us international fans….all recognition and love, to her memory….my sincere condolences to the family….
It’s a sad news to learn Mia has left us. With her management of this blog we know she’s a great person as she always tried to maintain a fair and balanced view when posting news of JYJ. I have the honour chances to chat with her once or twice in private messages, knowing she’s a bright lady and very understandable. It’s such a loss we have in the fandom.
Her hardworks in keeping records of the JYJ history and supports to all especially Jaejoong is precious to us. The JYJ3.net is an important source witnessing the past decades how Jaejoong and the other 2 have struggled with the rotten system just for simple human being rights and freedom. And how the 3 succeeded in winning the court case but still are blocked from appearing, performing freely on air Korean broadcasting like other Korean peers. It’s an important record in history and very important for us International fans.
Wish Mia rest in peace and may God take care of her family. We miss her a lot!!! 😭😭😭😭
It saddened me to learn about the news. May Mia rest in peace. My deepest condolences to her family.
Mia is such a great person. Her jyj3.net blog is important to me, and all international fans, to know more about Jaejoong and JYJ especially it kept a record of the crucial history of JYJ fighting for justice and freedom over the slaves contracts. Despite they (Jaejoong the most) are still being blocked from appearances in Korean music & variety shows, I believe Mia would see the end of tunnel for Jaejoong up in the sky one day.
I will forever miss Mia and she will always be in our hearts 💕
What a shocking and sad news…
Be at peace, Mia ❤️ Thank you for everything you did for us international fans and of course for JYJ.. You’ll be remembered…
RIP Mia

Thanks for all your hard work. May you rest in peace beautiful soul. Deepest condolences to the family.
I’m so sad…
but really had to leave a word of thanks.
For a person like me who was a newbie fan in 2015, with almost no knowledge of Korean, this was a warm and happy place that gave me positive and accurate news with lots and lots of love for the boys… like a lighthouse in the midst of a dark dark night
Thank you for doing this. I will be forever grateful and never forget
Thank you for good information. I was shocked. Mia worked very hard creating a gigantic site which has stood the rest of time and has provided so much information and background for everyone. I want to tell the family how sorry I am to learn this tragic news. I want them to know how many, many people she reached with her work. She will be missed. I am so very sorry for the loss. There really are no words that are adequate. She was an amazing person, who did amazing things and thousands of people benefitted from her work. She will be remembered. She will be missed. 🌺
Thank you Mia for your hard work and devotion.
My sincere condolences to your bereaved loved ones.
My deep condolences to family, friends and jyj3 community. May she rest in peace.
One of the greatest sites to have was this site at JYJ3. For the support and justice the members deserve. A warm and fun time to create a site to keep an international fan like me who can’t really see Jaejoong at all. I’m at a loss for words today because it was very exciting to see the blog back up and running in full to continue supporting Jaejoong. It was such a great resource for archival content for those of us running Jaefan accounts. I am so thankful for this site and Mia’s strength to come back. Deeply sorry to the friends and family. May Mia rest in eternal peace. Your hard work will never go unnoticed.
My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Mia’s family and friends. So many fans from all around the world will never forget her determination to share the triumphs and hardships of 3 young men seeking professional freedom and personal happiness. We owe her, and all other admins, a debt of gratitude. May she rest easy.
Thanks Mia for all your hard work, created this community for us. May you rest in peace. Deepest condolences to the family.
Tears keep falling as I log in to this site, my refuge and comfort for so many years.
Bye Mia, we’ve never met in person but I love you. You’ll always be in my heart.
Thank you for everything.
So sorry to hear of her passing. She was the best! wishing her family all the best.

I haven’t been on this blog in a long time, but I was here when it first started at the lawsuit and split and the community created and nourished here was an unforgettably part of my life. Although I never knew Mia personally, we’ve surely chatted in passing and I’ll always have fond memories of this blog. May she rest in peace.
