I know that JS, JJ, YC can speak a little english. I think YC knows how to speak the most english. But I cannot remember if Junsu, JJ, and YC understand english more when its spoken verbally to them? Do they understand english written?
I’m sure Yoochun understands spoken English even if he can’t really speak anymore. I know from personal expirience that you can’t forget a language you learned once. I lived in a different country for 4 years and went to school there because of my parents job there but that was 28 years ago. I never ever used that language since and I thought that I forgot every single word I knew, I couldn’t put together one single sentence when I tried. But some month ago I met with a patient in the hospital where I work who didn’t speak my native language only that long forgotten one and low and behold… I understood everything. 😀 I couldn’t speak a word myself but I understood everything she said to me. And after a week speaking with her it was slowly coming back and we were able to hold a simple conversation when we released her from the hospital. So Yoochun must understand what is spoken to him even if he can’t really answer correctly but I’m sure given time he can be good in it. 😀
Junsu is a little better. He says he doesn’t speak English and it’s true but if you watch their videos when they are in a Western country or with English speaking crew, he perfectly understands simple words and sentences like “be careful, it’s hot” or “come on, let’s go” or the simple instructions of the choreographer or director.
On the other hand Jaejoong doesn’t speak English at all, he proved it many times and he himself admitted it many times. 😀
