I’m Yoochun’s fan too. He’s my bias. I don’t mind whatever sex scene they choose to do so shouldn’t they consider my feelings too then?
Look I’m not trying to be mean/ snarky but the man’s almost 30, how much longer would the fans want to shield him from big bad love scenes? What I have a problem with is that it comes from a selfish place, because a lot of people commenting here don’t want him to do it, they don’t want to watch/ see it. It’s all about you and your desires, not Yoochun’s. It’s just another version of what a lot of fans say about idol dating life, they don’t mind them dating, just don’t show it in public.
And for those worrying about underage fans, if there are going to be rated scenes, people under 18 wouldn’t be able to watch it anyway especially if even without an explicit sex scene they plan to show extreme violence or something.

i loved jung yoo mi in que sera sera. she has the ability to make the characters hers and to have good chemistry with whoever she acts with. they would do well together i think BUT i agree, i really don’t want to see chun in any explicit sex scenes. given his images so far and the diversity of his fan ages it might not be the best move to make.

Besides, perhaps the sex scenes would be cut in certain countries anyway, and younger fans wouldn’t be able to watch it in the cinemas due to its rating anyhow so I don’t see a problem.
They never stated it’s going to be an explicit scene, maybe it’ll just be suggestive instead? I personally wouldn’t mind a sex scene if they’re using it to illustrate a passionate scene. I’m more concerned about the fact that apparently it’s hard to cast an actress for this physically demanding role. Personally I think Ha Jiwon is someone who can get down and dirty with the best of them. The fact that they’re amending scenes worries me quite a bit.

You and I both know that just because it’s rated “R” in the cinemas doesn’t mean it’ll be rated “R” on the internet and we all know everything eventually ends up on the internet. Even a 2 year old could end up watching this movie on the internet without trying to. Titanic sex scene was steamy, hot and romantic yet it wasn’t the least bit explicit. A good director should be able to make you feel the steamy passion of the sex scenes without showing any explicit shots. I feel like the Korean directors think the only way to show heated passion is to show both casts completely naked. But in the end all the feeling they give to audience is the feeling of having watched “soft porn”.

You know, I just realized that when they said so that the actress would be less burdened about the sex scene, it could also be taken to mean so that Yoochun’s fans wouldn’t freak on her so bad. Personally, I put my trust in Yoochun and the production team. Producer Joon Joon-ho and his team are highly respected filmmakers. If there are bed scenes in their movies, they are not gratuitous ones; but rather, they are pertinent to the story line and will be done with class. Also, I dearly love to get a chance to check out what Chunnie has been working on all summer at the gym. XD
Hope that Jung Yoo-mi will confirm soon. She’s an amazing actress with a long filmography–The Crucible is one her most recent films. Our Chunnie will learn lots from her. She’s also the type of actress that values her craft over popularity. Thus, I don’t think she will not be too overly concerned about some fans’ reactions to the bed scenes.
