Seriously guys, hold your breath, save your money and energy, I bet 2017 will be a blast.
Individual gifts/letters are really troublesome and I think not safe to JJ, I’m terrified what will be the haters or some psychos are giving or writing to JJ. Learn from DCJJGallery or JHolic, but with no enough resources, know-hows and manpower, it’s impossible to do it. I vote for that book compilation by JJ’s trusted fansites, at least what JJ could see will be filtered, we all know how terrifying and gross some people are to him.
I’m even anxious with that JHolic collection of letters, will they all be given to JJ directly? No matter how I miss him, I’m not sending any.

As a fan, I’m not going to let this announcement discourage me from sending Jaejoong encouragement in the army. I would simply suggest to all fans who wish to do so, that they go through official channels. Don’t send a package or letter on your own to his base, or attempt to abuse visitation rights. But, look out for announcements from his big fan groups and or his businesses that engage fans in permitted ways to connect with Jaejoong while in the army. Jholic is having an event now, as the JYJ3 note says, and KJJ DC gall recently did an event as well. It is tempting to go by personal channels, but to avoid criticism and to ensure that your message actually gets where you want it to go, join only sanctioned channels.

I believe that your response to me stems from your feelings on what KJJ DC Gall put together last month. I don’t have a problem with what KJJ DC gall did. If you do object to what was carried out, then you are free to have your opinion/views, and we can agree to disagree peacefully.

I think these are not regular fans, these are sasaengs who are giving headaches to JJ ever since not only during MS and they are giving bad image to JJ fans in general, yes really a big sigh.
Shaking my head, here. Jae asked fans nicely to please refrain: that should have been enough! DCJJGallery did it the right way!
maybe there are some group of fans who did this. They goes to the camp directly and create a scene just to give their letters and gifts for JJ. It is indeed a not good way of showing affection for JJ, for it only create a chaos in the unit. I trully understand how these fans felt towards missing JJ but on the other hand maybe at this time we can give JJ space for awhile. Years is like slipping in our finger lets make the good out of our own self first 😊. Create a beautiful memories to our life while waiting for Jaejoong.
Yes, on the last evening of his goodbye, through tears, he told us to use the time he is away to improve ourselves, so when he comes back, we can show what we achieved. I have been thinking of what new thing to engage in during the period, but of course, without forgetting huim. If he is the inspiration for me to try and improve myself, how can I forget about him?
What makes DC JJ GALLERY different than those sasaengs? God knows how many times they contacted Jaejoong’s military base in their attempt to send gifts.
Even after Jaejoong’s sister tweeted asking fans to stop sending Jaejoong gifts they still sent them to his base.
What DC GALLERY did is make other fans think it’s alright to do so.. if I want to send gifts I should make a call with 55th division and give them a list of things I want to give to jaejoong and wait for their approval?
I know many people here hate C-JeS but please do what Jaejoong wished…
He is not at 55th division to film a drama or to receive fansupport.
He is there to serve in army as an active – duty soldier. Please respect him as a soldier.
Besides jaejoong can use smartphone now, just mention him or leave comment on his SNS.. He will read our message.
Also about JHOLIC, they won’t send the letters to 55th division . They have an event because Jaejoong has his first vacation and will leave the base. Some fans seem not understand that.
But I think if jaejoong fandom as a whole wishes to send gifts formally, why not. I read that it is allowed to.
They wont be disturbing anyone because its by bulk and would not slows the mails delivery systems ;o
But sending personal gifts or mails would create trouble for jaejoong since it would be clogging the military storage space somehow and slows the process of the mail to be delivered to the soldiers in total.
I think Jaejoong and DC JJ Gallery are already well acquainted with each other.
Just browse DCJJGall fan support for Spy as an example ( and as far as I can remember this fansite gives support in every JJ’s project) so it’s not surprising if Jaejoong communicates with them. I believe they already gain Jaejoong;s trust all these years and there’s no way they will do something that could ruin that trust. As they said they followed JJ’s instruction for sending those gifts.

I don’t think it’s about DC JJ GALLERY, they fist asked for permission from both jaejoong and military band responsibles, the fact that jaejoong wore the T-shirt sent to him by DC JJ GALLERY is a way to thank them and he looked happy about it. I think it’s about fans who send letters to jae from separetely, jaejoong’s sister asked those people to stop doing it even before DC JJ GALLERY support to the military band.
I just hope it’s not antis who try to disturb jae, guys send your letters to j-holic it’s the best way to encourage jae.

I can guess where you’re coming from, there are groups who have grudges with DCJJGall, for whatever reasons. You equate them to sasaengs? I don’t think Jaejoong will entertain people with sasaeng_like behavior. It’s Jaejoong who gave approval what to send not the military base. And please don’t use the name of God so carelessly, that’s blasphemy.

I think by creating trouble for jaejoong would reflect this fandoms reputation, we are a mature fandom so I hope those people that
has been pestering jaejoong would heed to the advise not to burden other soldiers or create trouble for jaejoong.
The event organized by JJ DC is totally justified. They’ve got agreement from the military and JJ himself. There are multiple accounts from the cafe of JJ’s fellow soldiers and the family of these lovely ppl about how JJ shared the gifts from fans with his fellow soldiers and how they were all happy and excited about that. I just don’t get how cjes wouldn’t mention JJ at all for any of those good things, and once they finally mentioned JJ, it’s this kind of pointless announcement that would be discouraging to JJ fans.
By the way, JJ’s Jholic is taking letters to JJ. Well, send ur support by this means if u r really concerned about the proper way to send gifts to JJ…

Just a thought….. I wonder if JJ can tell his Division that he will not be accepting mail for this entire service time, not from anyone. I know I know, don’t yell at me yet, I know that means he won’t be getting anything from his friends and family too (BUT ONLY VIA MAIL). His base is in Seoul, where all of his friends and family can easily visit him and bring him stuff (not to mention all of his friends/family have the financial means to visit him frequently). His friends are probably lining up to visit him every weekend. He still can use his phones to reach his family and friends. There is really no real need for him to get mail.
But you know how it is like for the other soldiers? Some may be coming from far away, and very poor, their family/young friends can’t visit them much, if at all. I have read enough stories of some of them being so poor they think the military meals are way better than their own at home. They are relying on those precious mail and packages from home.
I’m JJ’s fan, but he is much older and more mature than most of his fellow soldiers and should be a bigger brother for them all. If he can just instruct his division that all mail sent to him don’t need to be sorted and returned straight back, and let Cjes make an announcement of it, eventually they will understand they are wasting their time and money. Honestly, JJ can afford this for the rest of the 1.5 year of service.
Unfortunately, I do not think this will solve the problem. Even if JJ tells the reception at his unit not to accept any mail for him, it will still arrive there. They don’t know who the mail is for, so they have to process it first. This is where the clogging starts as there are too many letters to handle. Then, once they establish it’s JJ ‘s letter do they just dump it in the trash? Will that be legal or a liable offence so sender may take them to court?
The real solution is for us to learn from JJ what self discipline is and to control our impulses and don’t think “oh I am better than the rest so he will be happy to get this from me’. Let’s abide by JJ ‘ wishes and exercise self-discipline or risk other soldiers to hate Jaejoong because their mail was delayed coz of his fans useless mail.

We must do what JaeJoong asks .This is not helping him .We can send letters and cards to CafeJ Holic for the next two weeks and save our presents for when he comes out. If we love him we will obey him.
