so I am watching Junior Master chef for the first time and may I say…. I feel so incompetent right now haha. It’s not like me and kitchen are a perfect match but to see children 12 years younger than me cook like a pro… aahh… there goes all of my self esteem.

I am actually not particularly fond of my mom’s cooking tbh. Our taste are very different I find. She likes sandwich, I like unagi don. She likes broccoli and cheese, I like rice and crispy chicken. But since I’ve been in Canada, I’ve come to like bread and salad. I suppose Canada is exposing me into food culture XD But I still rather have Asian food. My favorite. The year I left to study in Malaysia, I also gained a lot of weight from eating out. I came back and lost it, lol. But I’m back in Canada and gained more weight cuz I like to drink beer and wine XD Oh noes.
LOL… ohh… booze~ ^^ i have the occasional glass of wine… but even that is rare now~ i developed some sort of an alcohol allergy… 😦 i used to have a very long tipsy period… then fun drunk… then sick.. but now i go from sober to sick… quite sad actually…
As for food… I love western food.. but I don’t think I could ever trade in Asian food for Western food… We are Asian afterall… we grew up on that stuff ^^
Oh shucks, lmao, I actually feel really bad about your booze situation. Then again, now I know where to go and what to buy you to drink if we do see each other, maybe never, but you never know XD. You do know you probably just have low tolerance, and not alcohol allergies. You have to keep drinking to develop it ;p. I’ve taken into a liking for beer recently because I’ve found a really good beer and ones that are not easily found in beer stores. So I always have to spend money at a shitty restaurant just to get that drink. But I do love myself a good glass of red wine. um yum.

I’ve been cooking since I was in high school but only mastered it in University and took some expert cooking classes .
I don’t know why …it’s not like I love cooking that much … but it was something I found I was really good at .
I kind of have to cook since I live on my own. But for the most part I only cook simple dish. I wish I could learn how to make sushi. I always fail at it haha.

I’ve been living by myself since I graduated high school. Earning money, two jobs while going to uni. And my family doesn’t live in the same continent so I’m pretty much all by myself here. I’m waiting for my sister to arrive for her first year in Uni. It is pretty hard living by yourself for the first year, especially when moving into a new country. But you get so used to the freedom that I can’t even live with my parents for more than a week now haha.

Hi Kris, i followed your link and read. I will not dwell so much on A-Nation per se. My insight is that, it may be a blessing that JYJ are not active again yet, in Japan now that this anti-Hallyu movement is broiling. Maybe our gorgeous and multi-talented JYJ were shielded from this, after all, they don’t belong to the same league of Hallyu stars storming Japan right not. Our JYJ are definitely out of their league. Through Avex/SM’s evil ways, and of course through Divine Intervention our JYJ was spared and protected. Evil deeds leads to destruction, but GOOD will always win. I can say this with utmost conviction!

It is not only jpop fans who are probably pissed but a lot of international fans too. But as you well may now, a lot of ot5 and homin fans are rejoicing on this matter.
It’s the same sort of reaction that you get when you see these kpop idols riding the hallyu wave and some rookies who get to perform in Tokyo Dome. I think it’s that pride that a lot of people would agree, is what makes this decision an unhappy one.
It is a promotional strategy. They are trying to recreate the same hype that Tohoshinki were when the 5 was still around. I’m not gonna judge, it is obviously a business decision. But it does show a insensitivity from Avex’s part. Especially since it is their 10th anniversary.
I want to add that some people’s reactions were majorly made up of:
– “I don’t see anything wrong with it. Ayu is fine with it. ”
It was Avex’s decision to have them perform last. They probably never even asked for Ayu’s permission. Then again, Ayu has had some problems with Avex in the past and she is dealing with some hard issues these days, it could have contributed to this decision.
– “Ayu probably doesn’t care since she is a huge fan”
Hmmmm, I think Ayu would of wanted to see them as five again (I don’t know how she really feels about the two being tohoshinki). But we all know she came all the way to Seoul just to see JYJ’s showcase. And fact is, Ayu is besties with Jaejoong.
it was a major surprise coz Ayu *always* closes A-Nation but the change (e.g. a big surprise) was released to the media beforehand. Based on Ayu’s tweets, there is something going on in her life~

Haha sounds like a really big family you have there. Well I know a lot of people who are still living with their parents, I mean you do save up a good amount of money too . But it’s going to be really hard to separate later on. And you’re the only girl so of course your parents won’t let you go haha.
I’ve been living by myself since I graduated high school. Earning money, two jobs while going to uni. And my family doesn’t live in the same continent so I’m pretty much all by myself here. I’m waiting for my sister to arrive for her first year in Uni. It is pretty hard living by yourself for the first year, especially when moving into a new country. But you get so used to the freedom that I can’t even live with my parents for more than a week now haha.
I must catch this show. I love cooking…well watching it hoping I can learn lol.

I’m not so familiar with the background about A-Nation, but why some people were so pissed about a non-Japanese to have the closing performance of its 10th_yr anniversary, does it relate to the present anti-hallyu in Japan? , but my take on this is, it is just a promotional move for the upcoming album release, and avex is just doing what can rake in more money to it’s company, I should not concern myself about this company but since it’s still on the go to block JYJ’s activity in Japan, I can’t help but still following it’s move!

Hi Kris, i followed your link and read. I will not dwell so much on A-Nation per se. My insight is that, it may be a blessing that JYJ are not active again yet, in Japan now that this anti-Hallyu movement is broiling. Maybe our gorgeous and multi-talented JYJ were shielded from this, after all, they don’t belong to the same league of Hallyu stars storming Japan right not. Our JYJ are definitely out of their league. Through Avex/SM’s evil ways, and of course through Divine Intervention our JYJ was spared and protected. Evil deeds leads to destruction, but GOOD will always win. I can say this with utmost conviction!

I agree.. it’s like blessing in disguise.. Avex and gang blocks JYJ with their Japan activities but.. the good thing is that JYJ is shielded from all the attacks from this anti Halyu movements… JYJ is able to focus activities outside Japan while all the mess goes on.. The distaste for sure is affecting the big companies that are having promotions there,, I hope by JYJ comes to Japan market the heat subsides and they come back with a JPOP albm so that they’ll not be considered Halyu,, It’s like again the heavens working it’s powers.. kekekeke
It is not only jpop fans who are probably pissed but a lot of international fans too. But as you well may now, a lot of ot5 and homin fans are rejoicing on this matter.
It’s the same sort of reaction that you get when you see these kpop idols riding the hallyu wave and some rookies who get to perform in Tokyo Dome. I think it’s that pride that a lot of people would agree, is what makes this decision an unhappy one.
It is a promotional strategy. They are trying to recreate the same hype that Tohoshinki were when the 5 was still around. I’m not gonna judge, it is obviously a business decision. But it does show a insensitivity from Avex’s part. Especially since it is their 10th anniversary.
I want to add that some people’s reactions were majorly made up of:
– “I don’t see anything wrong with it. Ayu is fine with it. ”
It was Avex’s decision to have them perform last. They probably never even asked for Ayu’s permission. Then again, Ayu has had some problems with Avex in the past and she is dealing with some hard issues these days, it could have contributed to this decision.
– “Ayu probably doesn’t care since she is a huge fan”
Hmmmm, I think Ayu would of wanted to see them as five again (I don’t know how she really feels about the two being tohoshinki). But we all know she came all the way to Seoul just to see JYJ’s showcase. And fact is, Ayu is besties with Jaejoong.

it was a major surprise coz Ayu *always* closes A-Nation but the change (e.g. a big surprise) was released to the media beforehand. Based on Ayu’s tweets, there is something going on in her life~
