[TRANS] The taxi driver asked me “Why did the three leave?” so I explained the details and the current circumstances. He said “That’s so maddening… That must be why people want to root for them even more. They must be really good because even though they don’t appear on TV in Japan so many people from distant places came” Thank you Mr Driver… (T_T)
[TRANS] When I was eating at a ramen stand at the Ibaraki venue the guy at the yakisoba (Japanese stir-fried noodles) stand next door was working busily with a big smile saying “I’m so thankful to JYJ”! So glad ♥
[TRANS] A taxi driver told me that the Hitachinaka Park was heavily damaged by the earthquake and tsunami and because of liquefaction the road in some places is still twisted. So he said that the Rock festival in the summer and yesterday’s JYJ concert was really appreciated.
[TRANS] Another story from a taxi driver. Some staff (probably ZAK) went to Korea 3, 4 days before the concert and rode his taxi. At that time they were still not sure if the concert was possible. But local businesses, at the risk of going out of business, cooperated. So I am thankful to the people of Ibaraki too.
[TRANS] A taxi driver said “More people come to the Rock Festival but there are more artists. They must be really popular for so many people to come for just 3 people. Incredible.”
[TRANS] On the way home from Ibaraki airport I happened to talk to a staff member of the concert executive committee. I got tears in my eyes hearing how much difficulty they went through for the JYJ concert to happen and how much effort they put forth. People from company “A” came in person to the prefectural office and the venue to protest. But through the various efforts of people surrounding them they were able to hold the concert. Thank you so much!
[TRANS] I received a call from staff at the hotel I stayed at and talked about JYJ’s concert. He wanted to take a look and got in the concert area. (People in local tourism businesses were allowed to enter) “I was amazed at how good their singing was” “And amazed again that they weren’t lip syncing”. He said “please come every year!”
[TRANS] I heard that the area where the JYJ concert was held was particularly damaged by the earthquake. The driver of the taxi I got on told me that this was the first time he had seen Ibaraki so full of life. He sounded very happy. This is truly the best recovery aid! I am full of distrust for the Japanese media.
[TRANS] The guide at the venue said to us in the Ibaraki dialect when we were leaving “Don’t cry so hard. They’ll come again”. Those words felt so warm.
[TRANS] It was so bad that the staff were really worried. The obstruction was so bad that they were barely able to finish the preparations on time. With such a large scale event there are so many things, effects, products, so many businesses involved, so there was a possibility of some unexpected trouble happening at some unexpected place. It’s practically a miracle that the concert was able to be held. I’m so grateful.
[TRANS] Funny thing that happened at Hitachinaka → A couple came together. At first the guy looked like he had been dragged there by his girlfriend but after a while he was watching with his hands clasped in front of his chest like a girl. He finally ended up gazing intently using his girlfriend’s opera glasses that he had taken from her neck.

Additional notes from a Japanese fan: Apparently so many people were tweeting and replying about Avex’s obstruction of JYJ’s concert that “JYJ”, “Avex”, and “obstructing concert” were trending on Twipple at the same time. There was no official homepage about the concert with JYJ’s name (just ZAK’s ticket site) no signs with JYJ at the park, no media coverage except for that small article on Ibaraki newspaper because of Avex.

Avex is just plain cruel. Putting that aside, on the positive note. The concert definitely reach out to so many hearts and receive as well as deliver so many love. And that’s all that matters
only these 3 men can bring happiness to many ppl!! many thanks for those who make the concert successful! ^^
aww everyone is so nice
Thank you God…
JYJ r good people, after all those hardships they had to endure (and still have to), they can only become better… better artist, better performer, better men… 🙂
I will always support them no matter what happen…
these make me both very happy and very sad. i am so glad for JYJ and Ibaraki that the concerts were able to happen, but sad for the stupid oppositions that happened. I especially love the comment “I received a call from staff at the hotel I stayed at and talked about JYJ’s concert. He wanted to take a look and got in the concert area. (People in local tourism businesses were allowed to enter) “I was amazed at how good their singing was” “And amazed again that they weren’t lip syncing”. He said “please come every year!”” Yes, please do, JYJ, show all detractors that you will kick their butts from here to siberia! if you make a bigger seating next time, i’m sure it will be filled to the edges as well! (how i wish me to be one of them!)
I LOL’ed at the “gazing intently using his girlfriend’s opera glasses that he had taken from her neck”.
me too ^^
Avex is the snake. They came personally to protest. Disgusting. They tried to stop people to come? In your dream avex! *shoo shoo* “They must be really popular for so many people to come for just 3 people. Incredible.” INDEED they are very very popular. 🙂
This is such a miracle… JYJ is my miracle… OUR MIRACLE ^________^
And those forces who are trying to stop this miracle will fail… again and again… and again… and one day, they will fall… HARD~!
Compare this:
People from company “A” came in person to the prefectural office and the venue to protest.
To this:
The driver of the taxi I got on told me that this was the first time he had seen Ibaraki so full of life. He sounded very happy. This is truly the best recovery aid!
Tsk tsk so petty and greedy of you Avex to try to block efforts to uplift the spirits of your fellowmen.
>.>”’ Bec that’s THEIR pockets and THEIR money that they want to protect… the japanese people still need to recover from the tsunami, but the greed of other people is just too much, even more powerful than their supposed to be love for their own coutry and it’s people…
keber sa countrymen… di nmn yun importante…
grabe no ganun sila ka cold hearted
And what can we expect from such greedy conglomerates? (chaebol in Korea and zaibatsu in Japan)
It seems like
AVEX = TEPCO
Disregarding others’ needs and the needs of their country for personal gain. How dare they!
I’m so proud of our JYJ!!! And seeing them do what they want the day after the concerts just makes me feel really good. Especially seeing Junsu’s happy face at the FC Men match 🙂
“Please come every year”
I like this! Jyj’s very own annual concert.
Their own JYJ nation. 🙂
where ever and when ever they go, the 3 of them bring happiness to all people
i really proud to be part of jyj family
Reading all these tweets and their translations make me feel so proud and sad for the boys at the same time. They really went through a lot of blockage in Korea and Japan. I’m glad that JYJ has organization like Zaks and others who are willing to risk the wrath of Avex & SME, persevered and managed to get the concerts through.
But of course, all these would not have happen of its not because of endless and untiring support from the fans. This fandom has shown me that united we stand.
Fighting Jaejoong! Fighting Yoochun! Fighting Junsu! Fighting JYJ! <333
This is embarrassing that a company would prevent progress of its own country for the sake of its own selfishness. What’s more even more humiliating is that three men who aren’t even Japanese helped the Ibaraki prefecture! It’s wonderful to read these tweets and know that the locals are grateful to them.
the messages from J-fans are so heart-warming. Can’t believe i’m wiping some tears now. (Ignoring about A-shits!)
JYJ fans had so much fun and joyfulness on the concerts and i’m so maddening proud that non-fans and people on Ibaraki also benefited from these events.
“Please come here every year!”, and “Don’t cry, They’ll come again” boosts courage and faiths!
THANKS!
So I guess those who are obstructing JYJ if they had the intelligence and decency to let it go, and let the boys be, then they would not be equaled with the definition of mean, ruthless, immoral people/ entities. Everyone will gO about their business. But now everytime their names are mentioned it will come accompanied with a negative connotation. So at what point are going to say it’s getting to expensive for us to cockblock JYJ , it doesn’t make business sense. Look forward to that day.
“So at what point are going to say it’s getting to expensive for us to cockblock JYJ , it doesn’t make business sense.”
Probably the same day “us” is invited to the door by his shareholders and told “thanks for the work, but even though you’re the founder, you’re killing this company, and we don’t want you anymore”.
~crosses fingers for that day!~
Love those tweets. I’m sure our boys were touched by these encouraging tweets from their Japanese fans. =)
Lol most of the what was said in the tweets are by the taxi drivers *finds it amusing*
JYJ u guys are the best things that help people to heal their pain ❤
I just don’t understand even if I know and figured that they are banned in Japan at how ridiculous Avex is being. It’s utterly annoying and to think that they’ve done so much for Avex and that stupid company going out of their to block them…it’s too much.
but it’s the little things that matters and I’m happy that people of Ibaraki are grateful…and it’s really their happiness that matters. Avex should really screw themselves or do something along the line of trying to make another Tohoshinki with U-Kiss coz I don’t think the miracle could ever happen again with the company’s bad attitude.
I had tears in my eyes after reading these…tats wat we call making a difference in someone’s life…thank God n also all staff n ppl of Ibaraki ^^
stupid avex.
Reminds me of Jeju’s authorities’ coward attitude…
““I was amazed at how good their singing was” “And amazed again that they weren’t lip syncing”. He said “please come every year!”
THIS!!! They have amazing live performance and they do not any lip sync… HWAITING JYJ!! WE SUPPORT YOU!
So proud of JYJ and the lucky fans that posted their experiences. I hope Japan has a great rest of the year and 2012. It feels like 2011 is going by fast!!
This really made me cry. Hard.
Imagine what they were going through before they got on that stage…..no wonder they shared what they shared……even more meaningful now……every song feel that much more precious, every note, every sound made from their heart and soul……gosh I feel so devastatingly sad and proud at the same time. So it was with those kinds of experiences of being oppressed and blocked (and I would bet so much more that we don’t know about) that you still sang for us……….to us……..I love you JYJ. You go. You go and keep shining. Thank you for being such a wonderful example of love and light, of determination and courage…….I am rambling a little bit……it just makes me so emotional to know that even just three or four days before the concert, no one knew for sure if it could really happen or not.
And they kept trying. What courage.
Oh gosh. (can’t stop crying.)
I love you JYJ. Stand by you.
Hehehe, am sure Ibaraki will soon adopt our three boys as their honorary sons .. I AM SO PROUD OF OUR BOYS. These three always look so humble and just goofy at times yet they are WARRIORS in the truest sense. Every day is an opportunity to take on the goliaths of korea and japan .. but we know that the davids will always win… I pray everyday that these three will be blessed a thousandfold .. for every oppression thrown to then, blessings will multiply in ever facet of their lives .. praying that the works of their hands will be forever fruitful .. loving and supporting JYJ 🙂
reading this make me proud but also mad.
avex being so cruel to their own people just because of greed. this event can be another good news to people outside Ibaraki to understand that Ibaraki isnt a dangerous area. news coverage for this concert can also help spreading the good news about Ibaraki, can be used to gain the tourists back, and help with Ibaraki’s economy. reading how those bussiness people in Ibaraki (the small shop owner, taxi driver, etc) felt so grateful for the high activities in which help them, just made me sad n furious toward Avex. really how come they so selfish? i hope someway, the concert will get news coverage, eventho its late already, but at least it still can help people in Ibaraki.
and Avex, you are just the lowest of the lowest, you a**hole!!!
I’m so proud of our boys and very happy for the fans and Ibaraki’s people ^^
“People from company “A” came in person to the prefectural office and the venue to protest”
Let it go .. let it go …
Heartwarming, proud, but uggggh the circumstances, im glad they got such a positive response from japanese fans and bystanders though. I hope that the fact that they managed to atttact 80000 people doesnt go unnoticed by record companies.
Centuries of Emperors know it’s wise not to go against the will & hearts of the people. Those arrogant “big guys” are still trying to suppress the people, the fans of JYJ. So sad & ridiculous.
I am just grateful for the hedge of protection being placed around JYJ by staff, friends, and dear fans; Thank You Lord!!!
reading this makes me more proud n lil sad
proud because these young men whenever they go always can bring happiness not only to their fans but also people around them n this is why they are became more special than before…..they are who still faced so many struggle never gave up and keep trying to do something better day by day……
Giving with glad and generous hearts has a way of routing out the tough old miser within us. Even the poor need to know that they can give. Just the very act of letting go of money, or some other treasure, does something within us. It destroys the demon greed. — Richard J. Foster, Money, Sex & Power.
“Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.” – Leo F. Buscaglia
SME and Avex seem to be strangely blind to the obvious truth. They are in the wrong. It is obvious to everyone else.
In my mind, AVEX really is worse than SME now. Ugh. I’m so glad everyone involved, including the local businesses in Ibaraki, managed to pull it off.
(I’m glad AVEX wasn’t smarter. D: who knows what would have happened if they had offered to do their own concerts in Ibaraki.)
Lol at the last tweet about couple
I was so moved…. this reminded me of the taxi I took from Mito Station to my hotel when I was paying him my fare. The driver was smiling and asked if I was Tohoshinki’s fan (I protested). I told him I was there for JYJ, it’s now just the 3 of them and they are called “JYJ” and he said something JYJ sugoii (amazing) ne ^_____^. Ok, that was nice ~~
“On the way home from Ibaraki airport I happened to talk to a staff member of the concert executive committee. I got tears in my eyes hearing how much difficulty they went through for the JYJ concert to happen and how much effort they put forth. People from company “A” came in person to the prefectural office and the venue to protest. But through the various efforts of people surrounding them they were able to hold the concert. Thank you so much!”
This totally moved me to tears.
Firstly: I can’t believe that company “A” actually went to that extend, my goodness, how shameful!!!
Secondly: I am so touched by the so many unnamed heroes behind who dare to go against company A’s protest, to fight and proceed with the shows, bravo to these group of people! Your efforts are certainly very much appreciated.
Yes, thanks to those nameless heroes, we, JYJ and JYJ fans have got an amazing stage and an awesome memory…..I wish I could attend their Japanese concert one day…start saving >.<
JYJ is just so popular!!!!!!! Who can stop them anyway?
love to read those messages. i am crying happily. jyj will be welcome anywhere becoz they are great.
Hearing fallen leaves and reading this T_T The Japanese fans are so kind! Not only was the concert was a miracle but JYJ themselves are miracles. Such 3 kind, talented, dedicated, and so on men! Being able to bring joy and courage to so many people. Someone who messes with JYJ are truly soulless. JYJ deserve so much success for the hard work! Also thankful to C-Jes and ZAK for standing by them! =’)
Actually, we should see all these restrictions as a form of publicity. The more Avex or SM tries to suppress JYJ, the more people will hear about their unfair actions, and the more people will start supporting JYJ.
In any case, we know that JYJ sincerely wish to perform, and with a fanbase as large as this no matter how much the companies try it’d be impossible to stop the three of them. So… ^___^ Optimism! Positiveness! JYJ will definitely be able to beat these companies as long as we continue to support them, see what happened in Japan, doesn’t it just give one hope?
They could hold a concert in the most rural areas, and yet these concerts would still be successful ~ 😀 It’s the JYJ effect that nothing can beat down 😀
even though i could not be there, i am so grateful for all the businesses and people involved who gave their all to make this concert happen. if not for them, jyj would not be able to perform. the good jyj does with their perseverance and music is so praiseworthy!
