I would like it if they could fill it to the brim but the number one priority is to give a smooth performance that the fans will always remember. Baby steps because while I know many people around the world love JYJ it isn’t a reason for CJeS to get cocky. They are already taking a gamble that chicken-shit SME couldn’t do: a concert venue in a foreign country with a solo act (JYJ).
maybe the can sold out the venue….here (chile) are a lot of kpop fans, not jyj fans want to go to support also, and also because they now they are good live…maybe they will sell less than 7000
but
yeah, 7000 is a big number
and my impression was there are more fans in Peru than Chile
Maybe they are just testing the waters and see how successful this concert is
and based on that decide whether South America is a viable market for JYJ/ or downsize for the next tour if they come back
its so….gay…LOL…but they are looking fine…OHmy god im so happy right now…i want a vip seat but is too expensive fo me…just today a
i pay my korean summer classes, and is half of the price of the vip ticket
yep…i also think they have more fans in peru than in chile…put, well i don´t now, i want a full venue, but i think argentinian fans will come to chile, is closer tan peru, i hope so!!!
@camila It is adorably yaoi, isn’t it? I get a bit warm juts looking at it. ^///^
@EVERYONE ~~~I get the feeling that the regulars here are going to have their eyeballs popping out for the next few months over some of the language here as our lucky South American friends gear up for their concerts. Remember folks, every culture is different, so please try to think outside your comfort zone and not to get all riled up when no offense is meant. ^_~

“Remember folks, every culture is different, so please try to think outside your comfort zone and not to get all riled up when no offense is meant. ^_~”
I’m really not sure what you’re talking about. Could you be a bit more specific? Comfort zone on what subjects?
@lili We’ve got an explosion of new posters, whether they were lurkers for a while before that, I don’t know. But especially if you look at the page about the tour dates being confirmed, you’ll see a whole lot of colorful language.
I probably should have posted this there instead of here, but I was already responding to Camila’s post where she said, “its so….gay…LOL…but they are looking fine…OHmy god im so happy right now…”

“I probably should have posted this there instead of here, but I was already responding to Camila’s post where she said, “its so….gay…LOL…but they are looking fine…OHmy god im so happy right now…””
Oh, that. Well, I’m all for welcoming newcomers but what I would just say about that and similar comments of that kind is that there are PLENTY of things to talk about and discuss about JYJ without making snide references re: the members’ sexuality. The English language is vast, there might have been another adjective. Next time, please search for another one.
Okay, Come on everyone lets not start worrying. CJES would not have gone all the way to South America without doing some kind of research to determine what size venue they could fill before they booked it. Would JYJ fly 30 hours to another country to perform if they had not done any research to determine that the fan base interest was strong enough to support such a venture?
Take another look at the seating chart. They have not booked the whole stadium. Looks like they are only using the seating as indicated by the red, green and blue sections. It appears that the white section will not be used.
Let’s at least wait until we get some more information, before we start worrying.
@ Putrihs
What are you talking about? They had more attendees than any kpop performer ever did in soul, for the seoul concert. I believe the number was about 35,000 in one night. And it was snowing and freezing.
if you are worried about this …then you`d be dead when you find out that PERU`s Monumental Arena is for 9000 to 33500 people! Lol but the amount of southamerican fans are more than foreigners think!! Remember we were waiting for this many years !
“the amount of southamerican fans are more than foreigners think!!”
I’m happy to know that, and I hope JYJ will have a great time with the South American Fans…
PSDT: I am a peruvian fan!!
Hey, kids– Let’s not PANIC about this on the first day the concert is announced!
There’s time. Jaejoong was just voted THE Sexiest Man in the World in Peru. With 2+ months to think about it, I bet a LOT of people are going to go, new fans and old. And I bet the members are going to give them something commensurate with Mr #1 Sexiest, too! lol I’m bettin’ Chunnie’s infamous bed will make another appearance. Any takers?
Thank you god! i can´t go to Chile, but i have the feeling that they are giving a huge step, an amazing step!
I really hope that the next stop will be Mexico, it´s amazing, i almost can´t believe it, such a gorgeous talent in South America,
i´m going to faint!
Fighting JYJ !!!
Okay, Come on everyone.. Do you really think that CJES went all the way to South America and did not do research to determine what size venue they could fill before they booked it? Would JYJ fly 30 hours to another country to perform if they had not done any research to determine that the fan base interest was strong enough to support such a venture?

Let’s at least wait until we get some more information, before we start worrying.
And please… I say this without harshness to anyone. PEACE.
how cute… i had to laugh… i like the way you said “you sound harsh… but don’t worry…I understand” I can so picture you starting out strong and then so understanding. I love this JYJ family of ours…so much love 🙂
ya…..first little worry…but look at the plan….if 7000 include…..they will use only more the half….maybe round 4000 seats…hope it will ok…cross my fingers ^___^!
LOL I think the white part isn’t used because it’s behind the stage. It’s true though that usually they don’t use the whole venue and just the parts that could show the stage really well. Anyway, I think CJES isn’t worried about filling the venue as much as they worry about the profit. I really hope that JYJ gets to at least fill this venue more than 70%, but realistically, I don’t think that they’ll be able to fill all the seats. The best thing about JYJ though is that they still truly give their all even if the venue isn’t full. I’ve seen them live once and that was amazing, even if the venue wasn’t even close to being full. They’ve accomplished so much by performing just by themselves. Sorry wrote an essay.
“They are only using the seating as indicated by the red, green and blue sections.
Yes, with their seating plan, it appears that they will be utilizing only about 2/3 of the stadium. And I agree with you, let’s not worry too much, it will just attract negative forces and I trust Cjes and the promoters, they may not fill the venue 100% but at least they are assured of a “break-even” turn-outs or else they will not gamble going as far as Chile just to be laughed at by their critics and be broke at the end.
Let’s hope and pray that everything will go on as planned and JYJ members to be in their best of health always.
@bookthiefj
Be happy ^^
Don’t worry bcuz JYJ’s concert in Peru and Chile are showing their love for the fans whose have been supporting them 😛
JYJ are not there to show off Kpop waves or trying to take over the local music like SME and UAM (Just in case U ask) UAM is a collaboration of some of the top entertainment companies in the K-Pop industry.
Great!! I’m from Chile and I really wanna go to the concert *O* that would my dream come true 🙂
Although the full capacity of the venue is 7000 (or something like that), they don’t use it all 🙂 so i wouldn’t worry
I have gone to concerts of japanese bands in Teatro Caupolican and they usually use 5000 seats and JYJ has a lot of fans in Chile and no only people from Chile will go, I’m sure a lot of people from other countries of South America 🙂 (as Vamps concert 🙂 it was just in chile and came many fans from peru, argentina, brazil, etc XD)
Greeting from Chile! 🙂
and sorry for my english, but it’s not my first language
It’s not about how many seats are filled, it’s about JYJ and fans having a great time together. I hope and pray JYJ and fans have the time of their lives.
Exactly! and unlike some acts that try to sell even seats that have no view or a crappy one, it looks like they are making an effort to only have seats that are decent viewing for sale 😀
“It’s not about how many seats are filled, it’s about JYJ and fans having a great time together. I hope and pray JYJ and fans have the time of their lives.” EXACTLY! I thought that by now, people understood what these boys stood for…which was doing what they love, working with what they have now, learning and growing. I don’t understand all these discussions about seats ( and yes, everyone is entitled to their opinion and their worries, so do I). I think people still don’t understand and trust the intelligence, enterpreneurship, and the strength of these men. There is so much more to Kime JaeJoong, Park YooChun, and Kim JunSu than we can see and we will ever learn. So maybe a little more trust and confidence in their endeavors will be great. Jus saying…the same way everyone is saying.
@daebaksama, you read my mind! These aren’t some callow youth just off the farm! Jae Chun and Su are professionals who know what they are doing; asking for fans to trust them more than once. So, let’s continue to send only positive vibes out there and wish JYJ a happy and successful tour in South America, JYJ Fighting!!! JYJ Family Fighting!! 😀
@lilibaiyu gay is a word that i usually use, when i talk in spanish….i can care less about their sexuality… f i use itor everything, my gay friend have never feel offended by that (and i have a lot), i use it when i found something cute, come someone do something cute or when i feel something is not masculine…i dont know, i think you are over reacting, im pretty sure 80% of the chilean fans who saw the poster reacted the same…
and im not a newcomer….i have been coming to this site for almost 1 year….maybe more, i just dont usually comment, i have no time to do it…(now im in sem-ivacations because i have korean summer classes, )…i have even send information to this site 8wel just once but is something)
SORRY FOR MY ENGLISH… IS BAD
@camila
” gay is a word that i usually use, when i talk in spanish….i can care less about their sexuality…”
Oh, no, I understand, really I do. My teenager daughter used to use the word for a variety of reasons although it always tended to be a bit of a put-down of whatever she was describing.
But here on JYJ3 it’s probably going to be better not to use it. That’s what I’m saying to you. There are lots of other words. That one–not a good choice.
@Camila
“BUT IS JUST THAT I CANT STOP USING IT… 1/8 OF THE WORDS I SPEAK IS JUST THAT WORD…”
Well…. here’s what I’m saying to you…… In order for you to be happy here on JYJ3, it’s going to be really important for you to make the effort ~ESPECIALLY~ if you say it a lot. Do you get what I’m saying? We do not appreciate the guys’ sexuality being a fit subject for ill-advised comment. Keep in mind: there are many many wonderful benefits to being a part of this List. There is a bit of common sense, good manners and sensitivity involved though. This shouldn’t be tough.
@lilibaiyu this was just a joke, don´t take this seriously… maybe you are too sensitive over this… sorry, im just too used to the way we, chileans expres ourselves…
Sigh. Every time I try to prevent a fire, it seems I start one instead. So what the heck, I might as well just go for it and talk about it.
One of the many things I appreciate about my bias, Jaejoong, is that his masculine and feminine sides seem very balanced. We all have traits that traditionally fit into either category, whether people approve of those categories or not. You know the traits I mean. No one would look at Stone Cold Steve Austin and say, “Wow, that’s one feminine man,” or at Halle Berry and say, “She’s so masculine!”
Jaejoong does not force himself to fit into one column or the other. Even if his feminine qualities were deliberate, the product of an old stage image, it seems they’ve become ingrained in his personality. He resonates with me, a woman who often struggles with life in the middle. Women find my personality too masculine for friendship, and men can’t be just friends with a sexy thing like myself. ^_~ I spent years trying to cram myself into a mold I don’t fit. But I can’t make my voice higher and I apparently don’t know how to respond properly in girly conversation. So now I am just boldly myself, which sounds strong but is really the product of just giving up. I look at Jaejoong and I see someone who is the opposite of me, yet the same. It’s a relief to see.
So the masculine, the feminine, these sides are constantly in flux. If you exist at one end of the spectrum or the other, it’s not so obvious, but if you exist in the middle…people notice.
So in one picture, Jaejoong may be handsome to me, and in another he is beautiful. This does not bother me at all. It does bother me to see a beautiful picture and have people argue and insist that it is a handsome picture just because Jaejoong is a man. That’s just forcing him into a category he did not fit at the moment the picture (or video) was taken.
The same is true of JYJ’s picture on the concert poster. They could have used three separate pictures or just headshots, but instead they opted to make a three-man sandwich. ^///^ You can argue the masculinity of that all you want and try to hammer that square peg into that round hole, or you can accept that it’s going to look less than manly to a lot of people. I hope my thoughts are understood, but there’s also a SB article that lays it all out, and why it’s important much better:
@seobehrin
” Every time I try to prevent a fire, it seems I start one instead. So what the heck, I might as well just go for it and talk about it.”
I don’t have a problem in the world with the sentiments expressed in your post. Everything you said about your personal journey is FINE with me. I simply stand by my earlier statement to Camila. When Jaejoong comes here and freely expresses his feelings about his own sexuality and says he’s fine with photographs of himself and his members being called “so gay” then I’ll be OK with that too. But not until then.
Did you guys check out the SeoulBeats article too?
@flutter This conversation came about because the original poster said the poster looked gay, so I was talking about related subjects.
If you want to know what specific aspects, then let’s see…in my culture, men *never* stand that close, lol. Arm’s length seems to be the rule. Actually, yeah. In my culture, their proximity is enough to label this pose as ‘gay.’ Heterosexual men here are hyper-aware of their genitals, and avoid having them in close proximity to other men’s genitals at all costs. Similarly, they don’t allow other men to put their genitals anywhere near their behinds. When men hug, they do so very loosely, fairly quickly and with pats on the back, and with their feet and lower bodies as far apart as they can manage without looking ridiculous, lol.
You’re probably laughing because everything I said is out of camera, but you know one of the things I hear at the family dinner table? If someone’s hands aren’t visible, the elders ask them if they’re ‘playing with themselves’ under the table! Like seriously, who does that?! T///T
Oh, and Jae’s arm on Yoochun’s shoulder is not suggestive at all. Barely even noticed it other than to note how cute Jae looks with overly long sleeves. ^_^
So you guys know, I’m not trying to convince anyone that ‘gay’ is a great label to toss around, but I like to put out a different point of view (since for some reason, my POV always seems different T_T) so that people can look at things from another perspective for a moment.
flutterbybutterfly
@seobs
yes i totally understand that concept..practically everywhere in the world has this perceptive?
save for korea and japan of course.
tbh i used to think some japanese and korean men looked extremely effeminate..one would sort of automatically think ‘gay’.
heck, my gf saw a pic of jaejoong with lip balm and immediately said “omg so gay!”
i wasnt mad cos i’ve been there..so i tried explaining that some korean dudes just look more feminine..but it doesnt mean they’re really gay.
its unfair to judge based on surface value..but thats the ugly truth.
my big question was exactly the one posed in the seoulbeats article:
if being a true homosexual is taboo in korea, then whydaheck are the idols all touchy-feely with each other, like its perfectly normal? are they promoting these actions? then the real homosexuals could just be themselves out in the open right?
seriously confusing.
i dont even know if making gay JOKES in korea are frowned upon.
and lets not even get started on the yaoi sh!t.
since i was exposed to the ‘k-wave’, i realised then that its very common for the korean men to look this way..its not like they’re behaving like real homosexuals.
until i saw those cooked up ‘skinship’ rituals SM orders those idols to carry out..i was left really confused.
on one hand, i think this guy’s cute, but why is he acting so inappropriately towards his hyungs??! o.o
and it wasnt just ONE guy. something was kinda off.
i was left thinking, “are there really that many gay idols in there?”
yeah ok i bought the scam.
majority of the comments flying everywhere were shipping OTP if not confirming their status, what was i suppose to do at the height of this hooha!? hahaha~
it took awhile to differentiate which were the real acts of brotherhood.
for now, i’m learning to appreciate them as who they are.
actually i think its kinda nice.
IF i had to label jaejoong (i do not like labels), i’d call him metrosexual.
he can cook, he cares about how he looks, he likes dressing up; i think that shows a sense of love and responsibility for oneself, doesnt it?
i’d take him anyday than a couch potato slob.
(whats not to like? ^__*)
i’d really like to go to jyj’s concert, but i live ways to far!! ç_ç
btw, i hope they can soldout the tickets 😉
(p.s. sorry if i made any mistakes, but i’m not english XD)
hi everyone ^^ let’s believe in JYJ’s power! no matter the number of seats it’s still be filled with fans cuz as days goes by there are more new fans n not only those in South America there’s also fans from other countries especially from US n Canada even some from Asia though it’s long flight but I’m sure there’s many who’s attending too ^^
Let’s not worry too much
Fans in South America are doing all they can to go to JYJ concerts.
JYJ in chile is about 5.000 people
and JYJ in Perú is also about 5.000 people
I think it can be sould out, both days! Is not only Perú, and Chile, is Argentina, Venezuela, Bolivia, Colombia, etc… it can be done, if you could see how much fans in Perú are moving just to get the best tickets you will know there is no reason to worry
like Camila said If you can see HOW MANY JYJ FANS AND NO FANS are moving to get tickets you will be amazed…. Facebook and twitter is CRAZY OMG!!!! those tickets will sold out… You guys will see
Stop worrying I know my friends from PERU are doing anything to get tickets ^^
Please buy the ticket Chile fans~
They boys have to take 30 hours flight to see u and they want to repay your love so I think fans have to appreciates JYJ efforts. Please buy the ticket if u could come, and u could promote the concert to your friends, family or your boyfriend (lol) . Who know they’ll come.
my gosh..i’m utterly AMAZED at the many nationalities of fans JYJ has garnered..*applauds*
i would like to ask our south american sisters over here, how did you guys come across JYJ?
is ‘kpop’ already huge in your country?
cos its hard for me to imagine y’know, asian music being broadcast in places like S.A..there’s no offence here..its just..i cant believe its become that worldwide.. 🙂
I met JYJ as TVXQ on february 5th of 2008 *.* since that day I couldn’t stop listening to them ^.^
My brother saw them in a Peruvian Channel here in USA and he was amazed about their dancing so the next day he talked to me about them..
When i listened to my brother actually i was not paying attention to him…
After school I was waiting for him so I went to the computers room on my school
and I remember my brother told me about this new group from South Korea so I looked for them on youtube and since that moment I became addicted to them until now *.* wow so many years … but many of my friends in Peru met them because of the K-dramas XD
i think this section had so many worries .. but im not worried at all! ^_~
we always say that.. “They are JYJ” that goes, “nothing to worry about, they are JYJ, they can sell out well”
but for me its from a different view… remember their interview during their european concert? that even if only few fans came to watch .. the show must go on with the mindset that only think that ‘it is just the beginning’ ..
and i know that S.A. fans are doing their best to show their love to JYJ so lets just enjoy this precious moments for both of them ^__^… and knowing JYJ ..,they are not only there as a performer but as well as a tourists .. LOL! Im sure they will be having great times..
what’s with all the negative vibes here on filling the venue….
*then before we call JYJ to come in our country let us help them by surveying how many fans do they really have and are willing to go to their concert and are willing to promote them too by inviting friend/s to come….
*sorry if i sound harsh…Love JYJ and love you all peace!!!
common lets just be positive, remember what jae said? its not the number that counts its the quality of their performance and the warm welcome they recieve. the warm interaction between them and the fans. they will start from small audiences or small venue until they will grow bigger and bigger. lets invite good vibes everyone…just goodluck to them and latin fans please enjoy and takecare of them.
I still don’t see any info for overseas fan to purchase the tickets.. Anyone can help? Hope they’d be as friendly as the Spain one when they offer some tixs out the overseas fans =.=
Wonderful! Now THAT’S a venue suitable for JYJ!
Go boys!!
🙂

they should’ve gone for a smaller venue ….. it’ll be more fun and easier to fill
i dunno but i think the venue won’t be filled in the end D: i hope so, but yeah.. kinda don’t think so!

How many seats does it hold?
7000….im also worried….
7000 is not that bad. I am sure they can get at least 4,000 seats sold.
maybe the can sold out the venue….here (chile) are a lot of kpop fans, not jyj fans want to go to support also, and also because they now they are good live…maybe they will sell less than 7000

Let’s at least wait until we get some more information, before we start worrying.
im just worried about the antis. they used to be bought many tickets but they didn’t come.. like in Seoul Concert..
*dead*
If I’m wrong this is one situation i would be happy to be wrong
Are you a peruvian fan?
“the amount of southamerican fans are more than foreigners think!!”
I’m happy to know that, and I hope JYJ will have a great time with the South American Fans…
no, put they will dont use the entie venue….i dont now how to explain this, is just the explanada, somethinf outside the venue
PSDT: I am a peruvian fan!!
OMG i died now 9000 to 33500 o.0
even though it has 7000 seats…not all seats are available as seen in the seating charts~ but hopefully, many people will come to the concert~
And please… I say this without harshness to anyone. PEACE.
you sound harsh…but don’t worry….i understand
how cute… i had to laugh… i like the way you said “you sound harsh… but don’t worry…I understand” I can so picture you starting out strong and then so understanding. I love this JYJ family of ours…so much love 🙂
^______^!
THIS
ya…..first little worry…but look at the plan….if 7000 include…..they will use only more the half….maybe round 4000 seats…hope it will ok…cross my fingers ^___^!
A FRIEND OF MINE SAID IS AN SMAL VENUE…. we dont how how many ticket will be avaiable
Reading the comments really worries me . Hope JYJ don’t go broke 😦
@bookthiefj
^___^ totally agree!!!
and sorry for my english, but it’s not my first language
its okaayy.. english is not my 1st tooo.. :)) goodluck SA famss.. take care of our boys please.. ^^ have fun!!
ps: dont forget fancam.. and pics too,esp Chun. hehhhehehee…
YAY FOR JYJ! Wish I could go though but happy for them!
can’t believe it xDDDD
I just want to buy my ticket for the concert and start to believe in this xDD
SORRY FOR MY ENGLISH… IS BAD
my typo is more horrible than my english…OMG
@Camila Villegas
@camila
BUT IS JUST THAT I CANT STOP USING IT… 1/8 OF THE WORDS I SPEAK IS JUST THAT WORD…
i should use 1000000% unmasculine…is that a word??
ಠ_ಠ # ◄—- side-eyes you
@Camila
LOL…now i know about how hard and how easy to misunderstand beause of difference culture and laugage…hahaah…calm down, dear ^__^!!
I hope my thoughts are understood, but there’s also a SB article that lays it all out, and why it’s important much better:
http://seoulbeats.com/2011/12/are-k-pop-stars-so-gay/
hello above..umm sorry, but what was so gay?
that jaejoong has his arm on yuchun?
@seobehrin
@seobs
yes i totally understand that concept..practically everywhere in the world has this perceptive?
save for korea and japan of course.
tbh i used to think some japanese and korean men looked extremely effeminate..one would sort of automatically think ‘gay’.
heck, my gf saw a pic of jaejoong with lip balm and immediately said “omg so gay!”
i wasnt mad cos i’ve been there..so i tried explaining that some korean dudes just look more feminine..but it doesnt mean they’re really gay.
its unfair to judge based on surface value..but thats the ugly truth.
my big question was exactly the one posed in the seoulbeats article:
if being a true homosexual is taboo in korea, then whydaheck are the idols all touchy-feely with each other, like its perfectly normal? are they promoting these actions? then the real homosexuals could just be themselves out in the open right?
seriously confusing.
i dont even know if making gay JOKES in korea are frowned upon.
and lets not even get started on the yaoi sh!t.
since i was exposed to the ‘k-wave’, i realised then that its very common for the korean men to look this way..its not like they’re behaving like real homosexuals.
until i saw those cooked up ‘skinship’ rituals SM orders those idols to carry out..i was left really confused.
on one hand, i think this guy’s cute, but why is he acting so inappropriately towards his hyungs??! o.o
and it wasnt just ONE guy. something was kinda off.
i was left thinking, “are there really that many gay idols in there?”
yeah ok i bought the scam.
majority of the comments flying everywhere were shipping OTP if not confirming their status, what was i suppose to do at the height of this hooha!? hahaha~
it took awhile to differentiate which were the real acts of brotherhood.
for now, i’m learning to appreciate them as who they are.
actually i think its kinda nice.
Don’t worry 😉
hi everyone ^^ let’s believe in JYJ’s power! no matter the number of seats it’s still be filled with fans cuz as days goes by there are more new fans n not only those in South America there’s also fans from other countries especially from US n Canada even some from Asia though it’s long flight but I’m sure there’s many who’s attending too ^^
OMG,,i wanna be there. May JYJ come to Indonesia… ξ\(ˇ▽ˇ)/ξ
I just pray the best for them,, I just want the ticket was Sold out….
and SM will can see Who IS JYJ…..
Come on PEruvian and Chilean Fans….
Support Our Boys….
They will be come on your Country………………..
the goal for PERU is to fill the venue… So you will see
You will be surprised ^^
yEAAHHhh…. I am really Pray for that….
Hi @Carmila….^_____^ or other old name i really missed….long time no see!!!!
thank you for this Carmila, it will help ease the mind of our worried sisters here…
like Camila said If you can see HOW MANY JYJ FANS AND NO FANS are moving to get tickets you will be amazed….
When i listened to my brother actually i was not paying attention to him…
After school I was waiting for him so I went to the computers room on my school
and I remember my brother told me about this new group from South Korea so I looked for them on youtube and since that moment I became addicted to them until now *.* wow so many years … but many of my friends in Peru met them because of the K-dramas XD
wow cool!!^^
sometimes the unlikeliest circumstances are really the most memorable..^^
i think this section had so many worries .. but im not worried at all! ^_~
we always say that..
Looks huge!!! 😀
Wanna be there….dying to be there……kyaaaa….
pray that there will be no empty seats ! pleaseeeee
what’s with all the negative vibes here on filling the venue….
