On 21st of November, everything about Korea, Korea-Turkey relationship, K-Pop and K-Dramas were talked on a TV program of Cengiz Semercioğlu called “Böyle Bir Şey Var mı?” on Turkish TV channel TV8. Program’s guests were dear Dong Woo Cho who is counselor of The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Ankara as well as head of Korean Cultural Center in Ankara, Hilmi Kesenek who is Korea Republic Cultural Counselor and head of Korea-Fans.com and JYJ Turkey admin Feyza Özdeş.
The program was broadcasted live. Many Turkish and foreigner famous people have participated in the program called “Böyle Bir Şey Var Mı?” before. (The program name can be translated as ‘’ Can there be anything like this? / Is there anything like this?) While the program is an intellectual talk show,Cengiz Semercioğlu is also a very well known name in Turkish media. He made interviews with the names like Steven Spielberg.Besides he is an article writer in one of the best seller newspapers in Turkey called “Hürriyet”.
The group JYJ is drawing public attention with omnidirectional activities including not only films and dramas but also world tour concerts.
The members of JYJ – Jaejoong Kim Yuchun Park and Junsu Kim are showing off their talents as each of them is doing film, drama and world tour at the same time. Not like other groups who normally start members’ individual activities after group activities finished, all of JYJ members are standing out in each own field at the same time.
This man has everything that millions of women would fall in love with – fierce eyes, chic tone of voice and sweet appearance. Perhaps this is the reason why Jaejoong Kim has been the most desired target by Sasaeng[stalking people] through his entire career. Regarding this, he is a rare person even among celebrities. And he challenged the first cinema-debut on the film ‘Code Name: Jackal’ which reflects some incidents that he might have actually experienced in reality. The film is about a kidnapping story of a legendary killer and top star, but the incidents shown on the film attract our eyes as it seems to be something he might have really experienced.
Then how did he feel while he was shooting the film?
Are we in the era of JYJ?
JYJ members Kim Jaejoong, Park Yoochun, and Kim Junsu are each excelling in films, dramas, and in musicals, drawing the attention of the fans and the industry giants alike.
Sasaeng fans, in order to discover the private life of a certain celebrity and his/her every move, chase after him/her day and night. We’re referring to hardcore fans.
Up to recently, no, up to now, the sasaeng fans controversy is still the talk of the town. Movie <Code name: Jackal> comically conjures up that not-easy-to-tell story.
The highlight is the scene of bloody fight with sasaeng fan. In the movie, sasaeng fan sneaks into Kim Jaejoong’s house while he’s sleeping soundly and takes picture of him, watches over his every move. His swollen lips, his insecure face might arouse laughter but to some persons, it’s not easy to smile while watching that scene in the movie. What might be the reason?
Seeing JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong, who is pointed out as the biggest victim of sasaeng fans, directly talk about sasaeng fans somehow make me feel uncomfortable. The sasaeng fans that have harassed Kim Jaejoong, I wonder what they will think if they watch the movie.
Park Yoochun found Yoon Eun Hye again.
On the 5th episode of MBC Wed/Thu drama ‘I Miss You’ which aired on November 21st, Han Jung Woo (played by Park Yoochun) recognized his first love Lee Soo Yeon (played by Yoon Eun Hye) at first sight even after 14 years.
Han Jung Woo was leaving after investigating a death at Kang Hyung Joon‘s home then he stopped at the gates of the house. It was pouring and Han Jung Woo ran to where the switch was by the front door. While he was looking for the switch to open, he heard a woman’s voice say, “The rain will stop. It won’t.”
Han Jung Woo saw a woman beyond the gate who was repeating, “The rain will stop. It Won’t. It will. It won’t” just like Soo Yeon used to when she was young.
Han Jung Woo was frozen, staring at Lee Soo Yeon but then Lee Soo Yeon ran away and Han Jung Woo yelled out, “Stop there” and tried to go over the gates. The viewers were made curious guessing whether Han Jung Woo will be able to finally really meet Lee Soo Yeon again.
