Kim Junsu of JYJ released his new album ‘Yesterday’ recently on October 19th, and it was reported today that he has taken over major music charts in Korea and Japan in less than a week, despite the lack of promotions and televised appearances.
His agency C-jeS Entertainment stated, “Kim Junsu’s new album ‘Yesterday’ which was released on October 19th, has topped the weekly charts of Hanteo, Gaon, and Synnara in Korea, while also topping Japan’s Oricon overseas album chart, Tower Record K-POP album chart, and RAKUTEN K-POP weekly chart, and is enjoying immense popularity.”
C-jeS continued, “Compared to other artists, Kim Junsu did not go on any television programs, and also did not do any official promotions in Japan either. But Kim Junsu is still receiving so much love nevertheless, and we can really feel the support from fans for Junsu’s new album ‘Yesterday’ and his upcoming Asia tour.”
Since his album’s release on October 19th, many of Junsu’s songs have remained in the top 10 of many Korean music charts, while the album is also ranked highly on iTunes POP albums chart in many Asian countries as well.
Meanwhile, Kim Junsu will be holding his ‘2015 XIA 4th ASIA TOUR CONCERT IN SEOUL’ on November 7th and 8th at the Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium.
