This is an announcement in regards to 2016 MEMBERSHIP WEEK
Hello, this is C-JeS Entertainment.
We are sorry to inform you that 2016 MEMBERSHIP WEEK which had been scheduled in this coming September is tentatively postponed for inevitably.
We wanted to keep our promise with fans who continued turning up since 2012, but we have come to the difficult decision that Membership Week will be tentatively postponed after careful consideration on deciding it is meaningful when JYJ are together as a whole.
We will be distributing information individually about refund/cancellation, etc. to minimize the disruption to fans who were looking forward to 2016’s Membership Week currently.
Caring for JYJ, we would like to ask for a lot of fans who were waiting for 2016’s Membership Week to deeply understand once again.
Thank you.

There will be uproar again… *sighs* I’m actually happy they are willing to wait for Yoochun and I think every JYJ fan will think this too. But the exclusively Junsu or Jaejoong fans will complain for sure…
We,JJ fans, don’t mad becoz it was cancelled. We mad becoz they said last year MW meant nothing to them(Helloooo, remember last year? The one Without JJ?–> It is meaningful when JYJ together as a whole). But well,as far as I know most of us (JJ fans only) won’t attend it anyway so whatever
I respect everybody’s decision about attending the MW and I understand your feelings about Jaejoong being left out last year. But if you are already here, can I ask you something? Just genuine curiosity. What’s the reasoning behind not attending an event that is about JYJ? How will it help Jaejoong if his fans are boycotting an event which is about his group, his love of his life? Or after the third of JYJ fans not being present on the MW everybody will read in the papers that instead of 10000 fans the MW this year only attracted 6000… I never understood, even in the old DBSK years, how boycotting something they worked hard for would feel good to any of the boys. To me it seems more like punishing them… I know it’s about the company but after all it’s Jaejoong’s hard work is being ignored too.
I agree that it is a good decision at this point in time.
goooooooooooooooooooooooooooood CJES 😉 I SUPPORT YOU.
I’m glad they decided that Yuchun is important enough to wait for.
Yes I totally support and respect your decision, it wouldn’t be JYJ without yoochun! I agree they need to be at the fan meeting as a whole. I’m sure everyone agrees. Yoochun is a equal part of JYJ and I know the group feels the same way. All the mess will clear up soon. For the fans that stood by yoochun and supported him. Those are real fans. And for the ones that turned they’re backs on him weren’t genuine fans!! Don’t stress JYJ. It’s going to get better keep your faith up! You are going to shine when this passes over. Fighting!!! With respect your fan.
Good decision CJES…. glad you listened to JYJ fans!
that’s the right thing to do..I love and respect our boys’ true friendship and loyalty they have for each other..we’ll wait..
Actually….I concur with this decision. Better to have JYJ together assembled. Thank you for listening Cjes.
100% support C-JeS decision !
membership week is about JYJ together. if they cannot be there, i agree, no membership week.
As much as I was looking forward to the dorky behind the scene pictures they release every year, I think this is definitely for the best. I hope Junsu fans and Jaejoong fans will understand why C-JES decided to go this route because C-JES must be as stressed as we are, perhaps even more, with this whole situation. I think there is merit to C-JES having recognized why their previous decision to make it a Jaesu only membership week brought a lot of criticism. It shows they are actually aware of what the fans want and that they value the opinion of all fans equally just as I am certain they value all the members of JYJ equally.
So Mari, you know for sure that Yuchun fans were upset that Yuchun was not included?
Yes I was, even tough I love JYJ as a whole, my heart is with Micky and feel awful the first decision
@Georgia Peach
When the news first came out, twitter was a mess. Some Yoochun fans were angry at C-JES because they believed Yoochun’s removal from the event was a sign the company had turned its back on him. Not everyone saw the announcement in this light though because some thought it was for the best and believed it was Yoochun who made the decision, not C-JES. I believed the latter from the start. Although I was upset about the event being changed, I knew it was the safest and most sound option given that Junsu might be bombarded with questions about the scandal, had he decided to show up, if the event would have gone on as usual. Plus I also think this decision could have partially been made to avoid possible animosity between fans who only support one member as not every Jae & Su fan, at least according to what I saw on twitter, has responded kindly to the Yoochun scandal and the usage of Jaejoong’s image to promote this event.
Mari, I certainly agree with your opinions on the cancellation. And thanks for the Twitter info. I just wish CJeS had not even scheduled a fan meeting. Canceling it just seems unprofessional…or am I thinking wrong? And N.O. I do not want Junsu to have to stand in the gap for his absent members….least of all for Yuchun. When they are all together again….lets have a tremendous fan meeting and here’s hoping it will include international fans!!!!
@Mari @Georgia Peach I completely agree with you both! 🙂
Hay Seryn, kenchanna ? Have you watched the 2014 membership week video? Chunnie, Ju, Jae are so precious in it…worth your time.
@Georgia Peach I’m okay. Kamsamnida for asking! 🙂 I’m having some tests run, so I’ve been a bit tired, but I don’t think it’s anything serious. I’m just so glad to see things finally starting to turn for the better for Yuchun. That’s definitely lifted my spirits! Hoping we here good news from the prosecutor’s office soon. What about you?
Anyway, to answer your question… Sadly, no. I haven’t had a chance to watch it yet, but it’s definitely on my list! I’m sure it’s great!
Yes, we hope that no news is good news in this case. My heart is still with Chunnie. After watching the ’14 Membership video….I fell in love with him all over again. Junsu commented that Yuchun is very conservative and that a girlfriend would be well taken care of by him. Broke my heart right into😭😭😭. Such a humble sweet guy in front of his fans…..how can one mistake ruin him? Surely not❗️
I still want concrete confirmation from someone like the police that the DNA was his. I want to hear it!
Oops! Just caught my typo in that last post. Sorry! Homonyms will be the death of me! That was supposed to be “hear”, not “here”.
Anyway, much more importantly… Yes! He is an incredibly humble and sweet person!! It will break my heart if he is not able to recover from this! Let’s just give him all the support we can, whether that is buying his movies, music, or simply watching his dramas on places like Dramafever and Viki that keep up with a star’s popularity. Let’s make sure he has a career to come back to! I know we can do it! 🙂
I agree… This is a wise decision! I didn’t really like the previous plan, although I understood and respected that they had not wanted to dissapoint Junsu and Jaejoong’s fans by canceling the event entirely. However, I think most of the us support JYJ as a whole and wish to see them together again! When they are able to hold the meeting with all three members participating, it will be just that much sweeter for everyone involved! I don’t think anyone should mind waiting for that! JYJ fighting!!!! 🙂
I hear you. I couldn’t help but feel sad when news first came out that it would only be a JaeSu event. Although Junsu and Jaejoong are my biases, I love Yoochunnie too so I didn’t feel it was right to exclude him from the event because even though I knew it was for the best, the media treated this occurrence as if it were another clue that Yoochun was guilty because the haters viewed it as if even C-JES knew he was a going to be charged and thus it was the “first step” towards taking Yoochun out of JYJ in their eyes. For this reason I would have preferred they had taken this route from the start instead of now because it somewhat gave those who wanted to see Yoochun fall more to talk about, but better late then never I suppose. Besides I think with Junsu not being able to attend, it wouldn’t have been up too par with the previous events anyways because the main attraction, at least in my opinion, seemed to be the fanmeet so without any of the members there, I don’t think it would have been nearly as enjoyable, even though I really wanted to see more undisclosed photos, because what is a JYJ membership week without at least one of the members being there? Not saying I wouldn’t have liked the event to go on anyway of course, but it just wouldn’t have felt as right in my opinion. Plus, it isn’t like Junsu fans and JYJ fans won’t get their Junsu fix anyway because the musical is coming up so I think this decision partially could have been made to accommodate that as well as some Junsu fans were upset he would not be able to attend membership week. So in this way, I think this decision wasn’t made only to mend the misunderstandings that resulted from Yoochun’s exclusion, but also the issue of Junsu possibly getting overworked if he had decided to attend the fan event anyway/ the issues people had with him not being able to attend, as well as the added issues that came with Jaejoong’s inclusion this year.
Just read your newest post….so Junsu wasn’t going to be there either? If no one was there…how do you have a membership meeting ( sorry I have called it a fan meeting…watching those today)? Glad CJeS has gotten it all sorted out!
@ Georgia Peach
Yes it was in one of the membership week announcements. Honestly I wasn’t that surprised that he wouldn’t be attending because even without Yoochun’s scandal, the date of membership week would have possibly overlapped with some of the dates of his musical so I had been curious for a while as to how he was going to find a way to attend both without it being too stressful on him. So even though I am a bit sad we won’t be having membership week this year, I am overall happy he decided not to do it because I bet he is going to be busy enough as it is with the musical, especially given that he will play his character in every show unlike in previous musicals where he shared part of the workload with other actors.
Thanks, Mari for letting me know this information. Junsu can’t be two places at once and I would think that the musical would take priority for him! When does he get a rest break?
@Mari Yes, I think that Cjes realized this was the wisest decision they could make, considering all parties involved. It’s too bad they didn’t do this to begin with or they might have been able to avoid a lot of the negative reactions from the media, but like you said… Better late than never. I give them a lot of leeway though, because honestly, Cjes and the members of JYJ all have so much they are trying to deal with right now, it would be unfair to expect them to handle it all perfectly. I know they are doing the best they can to take everything into consideration. We fans only see a very small part of the equation. We just need to keep supportng them and letting them know we’ll still be waiting for JYJ when all of this is over. 🙂
@ Seryn
I completely agree! C-JES may not have always handled every situation regarding JYJ in the best possible way , but I don’t think they are actively trying to hurt anyone. And yes, lets do everything we can to let our boys know we are here for them and aren’t going anywhere. =)
Good thing and the right decision to do. the greater news are Yoochun’s Japanese Fanmeeting DVD will be released let’s support it guys.
the DVD release makes me presume that Cjes statement last time about excluding Yoochun’s contents from the MW because the case is still going on were quite a random nonsense. so I take this statement too with a grain of salt because hello Cjes before throwing big words like ” it’s meaningless when they are incomplete” remember that you have hold it last year without Jaejoong and unnecessary cropped his face from JYJ fangoods.
The bright side: JYJ are coming back together and we have reasons to wait 😀
jaeshnsu..you are right on this ‘The bright side: JYJ are coming back together and we have reasons to wait’ it give us hope that JYJ still standing together.
looking forward to next year since Jaejoong will finish his military soon and yuchun will be next year…I’m hoping next year membership week 2017, Jaejoong dan Yuchun will be together just like last year Junsu and Yuchun together. My imagination just run with happy thought….when Jaejoong and Yuchun together even when Junsu not around Junsu still will be bullied by those two.
I hope they are doing this to send a message of solidarity for JYJ as a group. I don’t think the response to leaving Jae out last year was very good, right? I suppose their reasoning for that was his military service. Well, he still is in MS. So how were they going to handle that aspect? Wouldn’t that be promotion of an idol which I thought couldn’t be done….well, it seems complicated. And Yuchun. Not a good idea right now to have him included…that could and most likely would’ve backfired in an ugly way. Best for our Chunnie to stay very very quiet right now. Later he will test the water. Junsu is all over the place right now….promoting like crazy! Our tireless Junsu holding the mast for JYJ!!!! I am a bit surprised that this wasn’t thought through a little more before announcing a date….maybe they were wanting to get feed back from the fans or something. Yes, we international fans will wait for ALL THREE…..through thick or thin!
Perhaps by then CJes will open up membership to more countries and we can begin planning that trip 😉
Could that possibly happen? International membership week? Now, that gets my heart pumping with excitement❗️
oh we can only hope and patiently wait! how would that be? they would get many more fans coming ya know? they can never have too many fans!
Exactly…and now there are at least three of us standing in agreement and putting our faith together…this thing is basically a reality 😊
United we stand to get to a concert….by all means possible, and even by impossible means❗️❤️❤️❤️. 🛫🇰🇷🛬. JYJ Hwaiting ❗️
shouldn’t have tried to put one in the first place
Testing the waters, but I read JJ Japanese Fans no longer buy those very expensive tour packages (and who’s making much money from that travel agency? 💩😈 )
…. I don’t know how they thought that was a good idea .
IKR, after all that had happened since last year’s MW then this year’s problems, they thought business can be as usual.
Well, some fans are saying they are saving their money for next year …
I support the decision. On reflection, I think it is the best move.
I so happy about this! I know Jae and JunSu wont let YC down… JYJ forever, tks C-Jes, please get in jail awful people that slander Yuchun…
GOOD Decision – afterall – they guys are not going to be there??? and I think its too much to even expect Junsu to front up by himself after all the ‘hoo haaa’ that has happened with out dearest Chunnie. CJES has their heads on with this one. Yes it will be disappointing for those who were going but just WHAT will they be missing out on???? JYJ are not appearing? suck it up fans…better days ahead 🙂
I would always prefer a full proper tour and a concert over a membership or fan meeting with an abbreviated musical performance. The live show of JYJ, albeit only via DVD is what brought me here. While individually, each group member has some very good solo material, in my humble opinion, the energy and chemistry of the 3 vocally is stellar and very special. IMHO, this was a good call.
“We will be distributing information individually about refund/cancellation…”
Any member here? I’m curious about the turn out that made them cancel. It would be great to hear from a member’s observation.
Are YC fans attending even if they announced to exclude his contents? I read most JJ fans are boycotting it (I’m referring about members, non-members have no influence on their decision)
” will be tentatively postponed after careful consideration on deciding it is meaningful when JYJ are together as a whole.”
How Cjes defines “meaningful when JYJ are together as a whole”, does it mean last year’s was not meaningful? #confused
So when can they meet that condition “JYJ are together as a whole” ? Can an enlisted celebrity attend an FM? it’s a promotional activity which is obviously illegal, or it is just a lapse in choice of words. (or the problem is on my very poor grammar and reading comprehension, sigh)
I support this decision. Good thinking Cjes!
Wise decision C-Jes!
apoyo esa decisión ellos deben estar juntos y felicito a los otros miembros en apoyar a yoochun JYJ están juntos como un todo ya han pasado por un camino muy duro para ser individuales sabia y oportuna decisión de C-jes
Okay, ladies! I have a question for you all. Please, anyone chime in if they have thoughts on this!
I’ve been trying to figure out a way that Yuchun’s U.S. fans could show him support in a meaningful way, and I’ve finally come up with an idea that I think might work.
It occurred to me earlier that DramaFever and Viki both keep up with the popularity of the shows they distribute and the corresponding popularity of the actors that star in them. So, based on that, and the fact that both sites are free to use, thus allowing anyone with a computer or tablet to watch them, what if the fans could organize a “Yuchun Drama Marathon Week”? I’m sure many people are already doing this on their own, but frankly, small groups of people watching at random intervals will not attract that much attention. However, if the fans did it in a united, organized way, I know there are bound to be enough of us for someone to sit up and take note. The only hitch being, I’m not sure how you would get the word out to everyone. Twitter? Facebook? Fan sites?
So what do you think? Is it a good idea? Could it be done? If so, any thoughts on how? It seems simple enough if there is just a way to let people know about it.
Not such a bad idea…in fact a very good idea ❗️ I would watch I Miss You again in a New York second‼️ Or any of Yuchun’s dramas for that matter❗️ Just tell me the week. I’m almost finished with my present drama…Return of Iljimae-Jung Il Woo. Sooooo I’ll soon be free for: Yuchun Marathon❤️❤️❤️
I was thinking perhaps the first week in September. (Unless that is too soon.) If we could get enough people to join in the plan, it would help to show that he still has a very significant fan base as an actor. I’m honestly much more concerned about that right now. I know that there are enough JYJ fans that his music career is not in much jeopardy. It is his acting career that will be most affected by all of this if the fans don’t show strong support.
count me in!
🙂 I knew we could count on you! ❤️
i love chun so much! lets try to help him!
Yes, let’s do everything we can! 🙂
Seryn, wouldn’t we all need to watch on the same stream…say Dramafever for it to raise the count and make a big impression. I wonder if DF would support a Yuchun Marathon with advertising on the website…now that would be great. That way it would reach other Yuchun fans not on JYJ3.net. Would Rilanna do a website post for us? Thinking out loud😀
Ideally, yes, it would be best if everyone was watching on the same place, buy even if that doesn’t happen, I think it would still help as long as it’s a site like Viki that keeps tabs on how many people are viewing a particular show.
As for your other question… Sadly, it’s not very likely DramaFever would do that, but it would be really nice! I think the best way to get the word out would probably be through twitter or facebook. I don’t have an account with either of those, but if someone who does were to mention it, the word should get around a lot faster. They would just need to use the proper tags. Perhaps something like #yoochundramamarathon, #supportyoochundrama, or just #supportyoochun.
Wow… So many typos! *facepalm* Why is it I never see them BEFORE I post something! -.- Anyway, That was supposed to say, “but even if the doesn’t happen”. Apologies once again! *sigh*
Upon reconsideration… The 1st week in September may not be enough time to get the word out. There aren’t even very many here who are responding yet. How does the 3rd week in September sound to everyone?
Whenever you want I’m ready!
@Kimberly J Thanks!! I’m really glad to gear that! I know how much you support Yuchun! We’re still trying to figure out the details, but I’ll keep everyone updated on the plan! 🙂
i am good with anytime. i can wait. maybe not so patiently but i CAN wait!
GREAT idea! And “Missing You/ I Miss You” would be a great title to start with.
I’m so glad you feel that way! 🙂 I really hope we can get the word out and that enough people join in to make it effective.
Count me in too! I have been yearning to re-watch a Yoochun drama lately so I am so down for a marathon. =) If you guys like I could help spread the word on twitter just let me know the date, the drama, and the website where you guys plan to watch it. But just to let you know, from personal experience, although VIKI is free, not every drama is available for streaming in every country so for that reason I would say Drama Fever might be our best bet if we want to make this a huge international success. In my region, Sungkyunkwan Scandal and I Miss You are blocked on VIKI, but on Drama Fever I can watch all his dramas without trouble. The only downside I have noticed with Drama Fever is that it is lacking in the subtitle department because most of the older dramas aren’t subtitled in that many languages so that is another thing to consider.
Yes, I agree! I think DramaFever would be the better site to use and it is my personal preference as well. I just wasn’t sure how others would feel. I know a lot of people that don’t like to use it for various reasons. You made excellent points though, and I really appreciate the imput! We can’t pull this off unless we’re all in agreement. Right now, I was thinking that the 3rd week in September might be good, as it would allow us enough time to plan and let people know, but I if anyone else thinks another date would be better, I’m open to that. Also, Yes!! If you could spread the word on twitter when that part has been decided it would be awesome!! (I don’t use twitter or facebook, or I would do it myself.) I’m not sure it matters which drama anyone watches as long as he’s starring in it, but if you would all like to watch the same ones together, I think that would be great too! 🙂
Please keep the ideas coming! I know I hatched this idea, but there are so many intelligent people here with great minds… I really value your opinions. I definitely think we can make this work if we just put our heads together!
Y’all, I watched both these dramas on Dramafever….with subtitles.
@Georgia Peach, @koreamom, @Rabi, @Mari @Kimberly J
Okay. I think I’m going to go ahead and say let’s watch it on DramaFever. Not only for the reasons all of you mentioned, but because I just now noticed that VIKI links to Soompi news articles, and I have no intention of helping to promote them in ANY way. What do you all think? Can we officially agree on that? Is DramaFever alright?
Sure thing❗️
Drama fever it is and let’s watch the same one so we can talk about it here. Will admin let us do that?
I’ve been drowning in Jaejoong, but now that I’ve come up for air…idea: at KPopway Radio (online radio station) the JYJ program consistently has the 2nd highest listenership perhaps we could go into their CHAT, during the program, to get the word out. Their female dj is a “Chun Drama Lover” (her words) and the male dj is a JYJ fan so I don’t think there would be a problem.
CAPITAL IDEA, MAZELIGHT3…..CAPITAL IDEA‼️ Can you do that for all of us ? I don’t know anything about this online station….will you help us? Please!
That would be so great, Mazelight! Thank you so much for suggesting it! 🙂 I just posted the details of the plan. I’m waiting to hear if we’re all in agreement, then we can start spreading the word.
Okay; created a profile and did some exploring. I listen to their JYJ program religiously, but haven’t been active in their “community” for a while (shy girl here). Their community now has a GROUP option and it can be made public or private should we have a need for it down the road.
Thank you, Mazelight! I really appreciate you doing that! Also, I completely understand being a shy girl. I am too; although I know that’s probably hard to believe! lol I feel like I’ve been possessed by someone with a different personality since I started interacting with the ladies here. I blame it on the fact that you have all been so kind and encouraging toward me. 😉 Thank you for that! 🙂 I have never done ANYTHING like this before! I had the idea for this project, but I know I’m way in over my head since I probably have one of the world’s smallest social networks. lol I am really, REALLY depending on all of you who use social media to make it happen. It’s a small gesture, but there has been so much negativity directed at him that anything positive we can do to offset that is well worth it in my opinion… Especially when it’s so simple.
and such a fun thing to do. we could all use more yuchun in our lives! its a great idea!
More Chunnie in our life‼️ Of course we do! Not many Chunnie faces in I Miss You…..but lots of beautiful Chunnie tears! He is so wonderful and sweet hearted in this drama. If you don’t fall further in love with him from this drama….your heart is way too cold!
@Georgia Peach @koreamom @Rabi @Mari @Kimberly J (and anyone else who wants to join in)
Alright everyone, here is the plan unless someone feels differently… I just found out that Sept. 12th is the National Day of Encouragement. That would still give us time to spread the word, and I don’t know of a better day to start our marathon. Wouldn’t you agree? 🙂 So, let’s watch on DramaFever starting Monday, September 12th. We can either begin with I Miss You, or we could go through the dramas in the order he filmed them, which would be Sungkyunkwan Scandal, Miss Ripley, Rooftop Prince, I Miss You, 3 Days, and Sensory Couple (a.k.a. The Girl Who Sees Smells). Also, how about calling this, #YoochunDramaFever week? I thought it was a good play-on-words, but tell me if you think it’s too cheesy. I hope everyone is having a great weekend! I’m really excited to do this small gesture to help Yuchun’s career. Let’s give him all the encouragement we can!! 🙂
I haven’t seen I Miss You and I like the message it sends, but doing them in order also makes sense. If you call it Yoochun Drama fever week that also could get the network’s support. On a related note, isn’t Sungkyunkwan Scandal currently airing in Japan?
I’m not sure, @shahera5. It would be great if it is, but I don’t have any way to find out, unfortunately. Perhaps someone else here knows?
Also… Since most of you seem to feel that way, let’s just begin with “I Miss You” and then work our way through the rest of his dramas as our interests and schedules allow.
Lastly, since I haven’t heard any objections to the other parts of the plan, is it alright with everyone if I make an official anouncement regarding our intentions, so that we can start letting people on other sites know about this project? We need to begin doing that as soon as possible.
Just as an update… The current idea is to watch on DramaFever, beginning on Sept. 12th, (September 12th is “National Encouragement Day” here is the U.S..) and starting with “I Miss You”.
i am down with that!
I am 100% on board! =)
I apologize for having to change the date once again, but it has been brought to my attention by one of the ladies here who knows more about social networking, that doing this any earlier than the last week of September will probably not give us enough time to let everyone know. She thought perhaps the first week of October would be better. Is that alright with all of you? I know it’s a long time to wait, but if we really want to make this a success for Yuchun, I think patience is called for. The more people who join us, the greater the impact. So what do you think? Can we do that? I’m going to set it for Saturday, October 1st. I need to get the official announcement out, so I won’t be making any more changes after this is decided. I hope you’re all having a great day! Thanks again for all the support and enthusiasm! 🙂
whatever you say boss! i know this is a hard thing to organize~
At this time I can say there’s no problem, whenever you want. And on a side note I noticed Wikipedia updated the info on Yuchun. I’m so glad.
@KimberlyJ thank you so much for letting us know about the update and thank God that Bill Cosby line has been removed!
@Kimberly J I’m so thrilled to hear that about Wikipedia! It certainly took them long enough!! Thank you for letting us know! 🙂
Yes, it really bothered me that people who were learning about Yuchun for the first time would look at Wikipedia and think that’s what he was like. It was so unfair, and DCGallery needed to be slapped down!
so happy to know it is taken care of.
Not that I’m a violent person normally.
@Kimberly J lol… I know exactly how you feel!! Same here!
Rejoicing over that good news…..many thanks to that person who made the changes to Wikipedia !!!!
Nota problem….lets just make this successful for Yuchun! Wish I knew more about how to get the word out. I am SNS ignorant. Wish my friends were able to enjoy Yuchun’s drama…..they just do not know what they are missing❗️
Could the.jyj3 admins put it on their Twitter and Facebook feeds occasionally? If someone could write an announcement like tweet that everyone could use on our individual twitters plus a paragraph for Facebook accounts that would help along with creating a.hashtag to use with it.
I am working on drafting an official announcement that can be posted on social media sites like facebook, but if someone else could do that for twitter when we’ve finalized the details, it would be great! 🙂 I was thinking we could use the hashtag #yoochundramafever . What do you think?
Right now the official plans are to start it on Saturday, Oct. 1st, preferrably using DramaFever, but if someone cannot use that, then Viki. Many wish to begin with “I Miss You” but I will also include a complete list of his dramas in the announcement. I should have that done by tonight or tomorrow at the latest. 🙂
Seryn, would the hashtag be more explanatory if you used something like: #yuchunsupport or #yuchunloyality? Or #watchingyuchunforsupport? Maybe thats too long…. #yuchundramfever might run into some issues with Dramfever Inc. copy rights or something, unless that sort of thing doesn’t apply on social media. We don’t want all your hard work to tank! Just thinking out loud. Does anyone know anything about this kind of thing?
I’ve thought about that too, Georgia Peach. I just wasn’t sure how it worked. You’re probably right. I don’t think DramaFever can legally prevent anyone from using the terms drama or fever, but if it did cause any unecessary issues, that wouldn’t be good. Perhaps something like #watchforyoochun would be better. What do you think?
Yeah…#supportingyuchunwatch or something like what you suggested might just be better….just mention we want to watch on Dramafever and the reason why…so the uptick watching Yuchun will perhaps be recognized by them. You are working soooo hard. Sugohasemneda!
I’m not sure how the comment notifications work, so I just wanted to let you all know I’ve posted the official announcement at the bottom of the page. 🙂
Great job Seryn….looking forward to October!
@Rilanna, is it alright if I include the wording “On behalf of Park Yoochun’s U.S. fans and the ladies at JYJ3.net,” in the official announcement of our plan that will be posted on other social media sites? I will of course omit it if it is inappropriate, but I wanted to word it that way out of respect for the support the ladies here have given the project, and because without them it would not have been possible. Please let me know how you feel about it! I also apologize for all the comments pertaining to this! I know it’s not strictly related to JYJ as a group. I just didn’t know how else to let everyone here know about the idea.
I appreciate all that you do so much!!! My sincerest regards! 🙂
JYJ fans are amazing! YC ‘s drama / movie are great!
Okay. *takes deep breath* Here is the official announcement of the plan. If you don’t think I need to make any more changes to it, you may start posting it on social media sites like Facebook and anywhere else you think will be effective. Let’s make a strong effort for Yuchun’s sake! He’s suffered so much injustice lately… Let’s help to show him that there are many who still want to see him succeed! Thank you all SO much for your contributions to this project! I’m counting on everyone to get the word out. I know we can do this! 🙂
The announcement is as follows…
Hello,
On behalf of a group of Park Yoochun’s U.S. fans, I would like to invite all of his international fans to join us in an effort to support and encourage his work as a very gifted actor by participating in what we are calling “Watch for Yoochun” week, beginning Saturday, October 1st. By joining together for a marathon, we hope to significantly raise the view-count and ratings of his dramas and bring awareness to the fact that he still has a large following of loyal supporters. We feel that given the recent events in his life, this would be a meaningful gesture to show our strong faith in him as a person and our sincere wish that he will continue to be able to pursue his love of acting in the future. I’m sure that many of you have already been doing this on your own, but if we unite in an organized manner, the positive impact will hopefully be much greater. We will be watching on DramaFever.com because we feel it is the easiest way to allow everyone to watch simultaneously, and also because it is essential that we use one site, if possible, in order to accomplish our goal. We would like to clearly state that we are not affiliated with DramaFever in any way and we are not receiving any promotional compensation from them. If you are not able to use DramaFever, Viki.com also has all of his dramas; although some of them may not be available in every region. Many of us will be starting with “I Miss You” because of it’s message, but please feel free to watch whichever ones match your interests. Also, if you would like to promote the event on social media, please use the hashtags #watchforyoochun or #watchforyuchun. Thank you in advance for your help in allowing us to demonstrate our respect for him and his immense talent! Blessings to you all! Always keep the faith!
Here is a complete list of his dramas…
Sungkyunkwan Scandal
Miss Ripley
Rooftop Prince
I Miss You (a.k.a. Missing You)
Three Days
The Girl Who Sees Smells (a.k.a. Sensory Couple)
This is such a great idea, congrats to everyone who came up with it 🙂 I’ll try & participate as well.
way to go seryn! readay and waiting for oct 1 !
This is my Twitter post. It is currently being translated into both Chinese and Japanese by our AMAZING JYJ Sister @jjnacchann.
The response has been a little overwhelming but so very encouraging.
@Maezlight This makes me so happy! I just looked at the tweet responses. I’m thrilled to see that everyone is so eager to support him! Thank you again for posting the announcement.! When I had the idea for this, I knew that the hard part would be getting the word out to everyone, so the fact that you are helping with that part is SO very appreciated! ❤️❤️❤️
Sorry… My fingers are being rebellious this morning! I meant to type your name, “mazelight”. *blushes apologetically*
I had almost given up on this posting here…wanted to share with everyone involved in the birth and nurturing of this brainchild. I feel a little guilty receiving so much of the love and appreciation so I’m glad that you were able to see the responses.
I have been channeling @Koreanmom and replying to all the response because I know that’s what she’d do; short sweet and encouraging. How does she do it?!?!! This 140 character limit is SO frustrating for me *she quickly adds* but I welcome the practice.
@Mazelight3 No worries! I’m not interested in the credit. I just want to see this succeed, and it will take all of us working together to make that happen! I’m just happy that the response has been so overwhelmingly positive! 😊
Also, yes! I know what you mean… I’m obviously not good at short responses either. lol You are doing an amazing job though… Keep it up! You’ve worked hard! Kamsahammnida! 🙂
way to go seryn for getting this thing rolling!
It would still be just an idea if everyone wasn’t helping so much, so I don’t feel like I deserve any credit, but thank you anyway, koreamom! 🙂 You are always so sweet! I’m really thankful there are people like you in the world!! ❤️❤️❤️
This message was meant for EVERYONE so I’m posting here
Thank you so much for sharing this, Mazelight! 💜💜💜
Mazelight3…..love the photo you used of Yuchun on your Twitter page! He is so handsome😘😘😘. This thing is going to be HUGE‼️
Thanks @Georgia Peach…I think so too – on both counts 😉
@Seryn @Mazelight3 You used such a cute picture of our Yoochunie! ❤ I wished I would have thought of that because I only used a screen shot of the announcement in my tweet so I haven't reached 100 re-tweets yet but even so I managed to receive 75 re-tweets within a day so I'd say I didn't do too terribly. Here's hoping we will have reached thousands of Chunsa's and JYJ fans come October 1st! Everybody fighting!! =)
@Mari It probably wouldn’t hurt to tweet it a few more times before October, so feel free to use the one I made, if you would like. 🙂 (I’m sure Mazelight3 probably wouldn’t mind you using her version either, I just don’t want to speak for her.) And thank you so much for all your help! 75 retweets in one day is not bad at all! Fighting!! 😄
@Seryn @Mari By all means use me, we’re a team here.
Btw I will have quite a bit of free time the next several weeks so if you (the collective You) need me to check out, research, or put together anything for this project just say the word.
@Mazelight @Mari @lilibaiyu I think I’ve done pretty much all I can do, aside from cheering you all on, so I’m going to leave it in your hands now. I’m dealing with some medical issues, so I’ve been exhausted and I need a break before I crash. Thanks again for making this possible!! I didn’t really dare to hope at first that it would get such a positive response from everyone, but I’m SO glad we can do this for Yuchun!!! Blessings to each of you!!! 💜💜💜
75 re-tweets within a day is great‼️Thanks @Mari 😄
Good idea Seryn, I am definitely going to participate !
Thank you, Jaechnsu! 🙂 I’m really happy the idea is getting such a positive response! I just wanted us to be able to do something for Yuchun… He needs all the encouragement and support he can get right now!
You are all so great. And, many thanks to you especially, Seryn. I also was shocked at the wikipedia page and felt hugely relieved at seeing the change. Maybe that creepy comparison to Bill Cosby has been deleted by now, but, if not, deleting that would be good for someone to do as well. (I don’t know if it’s okay to do that, however – and don’t know how.) I just watched “I Miss You” a couple of weeks ago, but will be happy seeing it again with others beginning October 1st. I’d not known about KPopRadio. Thanks for that too. Again, it’s grand you’ve put together this collective marathon. You worked hard. Keeping the faith. Smiles to all.
Thank you, Cate! Your encouragement means a lot! 🙂 Honestly though, I may have come up with the idea, but the hard part will be letting everybody know, so the ones doing that deserve the credit!
Also, just to let you know… There is good news regarding the Wikipedia article! They have removed the Bill Cosby line and updated the other information about the case, stating that he has been acquitted of the assault charges and that the accusers have been arrested! 🙂
(Oops.. Sorry everyone! I meant to send that as a reply to Cate.)
Thanks for the info Seryn, I’m so relieved that misleading part about ” Bill Cosby” was removed from Yoochun profile, special thanks to @lilibaiyu for contacting the people she knows working for wikipedia and every fan who helped in removing that part.
You’re welcome, and yes, I totally agree! You are awesome @lilibaiyu! Thank you so much!!
I wanted to let you all know that I’ve shared the announcement on Pinterest. I do have an account there and I was even able to send it to DramaFever via that means. 🙂
By the way… Do any of you have an account on Pinterest? If you do I’ll send you the pin and you can spread it around. 🙂
Here is what I pinned. I liked this picture because it shows how happy he is when he’s acting. 🙂 https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/564x/25/ae/48/25ae48b1491dcfc03e484454749ea7ab.jpg
Very nice, Seryn, I found myself smiling back like a big dork 😄
lol… Yes! He has a very contagious smile! I do the same thing! 😄
I’m putting this here for anyone that would like to help us promote the drama marathon event to support Yuchun. I’ve made an updated version of the “poster” for the announcement. Please feel free to use it on twitter, facebook, or any other social media sites. Thanks!! 🙂
Here’s a link for the image…
Ladies, do any of you have a google+ account? If so, would you be willing to let some of the Yoochun supporters on YouTube know about the project by posting the info on it in the comments section of the fan channels with larger followings? I was going to do it myself, but I don’t have a google+ account for many different reasons and without one it won’t let me leave comments. If it’s not too much trouble, I think it would help to get the word out. You are all so great! Thank you for everything you’ve already done! Fighting, everyone!! 🙂
@lilibaiyu @georgia peach @mazelight3 @mari @koreamom @jaechnsu @shahera5 @sapphire (And anyone else who is interested in working on this.) I have created an email account specifically for the project and the ladies from JYJ3 so that we can discuss anything that comes up without having to bog down the comment section. Please feel free to contact me via that means! Blessings to you all! 🙂
The address is serynsong@gmail.com
@kimberly j @cate I didn’t mean to leave you out of that list. I just realized I forgot to include your names. It’s getting hard to keep up with everybody that’s said they wanted to participate. My apologies for the oversight! 😕 I’m very, very thankful for the support you’ve shown this project! 🙂
Hello everyone,
I received a letter this morning that I wanted to share with you all. I will not paste the entire content, since some of it was personal, but here is the portion that I wanted you to read. It was meant for all of us working on the “Watch for Yoochun” project. 🙂
“I am a Yuchun fan from Singapore.
Like you, i support Yuchun all the way but remains very low profile, thus,
i am very shy and usually dont leave comments anywhere, Haha!!
Anyway, my reason to drop a note to you is because i am so impressed by your
enthusiam about the “WatchforYuchun” project and its really a brilliant idea. I like Yuchun very much and its so sad to see him going through this when i never doubt him at all and believe he is innocent since day 1. I just want his name to be
officially cleared and he can get back to his normal life and come back to us one yr later.
I am not too sure you have any links to Korea DCPYC and China’s Weibo, I am writing to you because your project has been posted there and the fans from Korea and China are very supportive and appreciate very much. They said you people are so smart with this idea and thank you very much. They will definitely support this project. However, I just want to let you know that some of us may not be able to watch (eg myself, because that drama is not available in my region as shown in the dramafever.com). But, my message is, although we are not able to watch, but we give full support one way or another, for example, by helping to spread the news around.
Just want to let you know that your effort is not wasted and i really thank you very much for your initiative. Once again thank you very much and hope the project is a success and Cheers for you and Yuchun. Thank you.”
Thank you so much for sharing!
Many fans in other regions will be watching on DramaCool (cannot track viewership at drama fire); I will share that with the Singapore fan club(s) asap.
Thank you, Mazelight3! You’ve been an ENORMOUS help with this!!! I was hoping to hear back from her, but if not, should I make another announcement for the Asian fans specifically and include that information? It wouldn’t take much to do that and if it would help I can get it done a.s.a.p..
We should definitely mention DramaCool in all of our reminders / re-posts. Because this information is beneficial to people in other regions, as well, I believe it would be more helpful to include it in all our future communications.
I agree! I will get to work on it right away so it can be used for the retweets and reposts. 🙂
In the meantime, I’ve sent this to those with larger followings who have been helping get the word out
That’s great!! Thanks!!! 🙂
I think I’ll just put something to that effect as an addendum at the end of the announcement. I also wanted to mention his movie Haemoo, although it won’t be part of the marathon, so I’ll add that info as well.
Thank you so much Seryn!
I have to “leave” for a few hours, please don’t think that I’ve abandoned ship. 😊
No worries! I hope you have a wonderful day!! 🙂
HOW WONDERFUL‼️ I just knew this #supportforyuchun would go all around the world‼️‼️ You’ll get your phone call Texas girl‼️‼️‼️
lol… Georgia Peach! 🙂 You are such a sweet person, but please stop! You’re going to have everyone thinking that’s why I’m doing this. (I’m not saying it wouldn’t be nice, lol, but it’s definitely NOT my motive, and it’s really okay with me if nobody ever knows who I am.) By the way… I sent you an email. Did you get it? 🙂
I wish she had told where they can watch, so long as they watch at the same time, does it make any difference?. PYC has a very big following in China and their numbers will definitely make a difference
In my reply I told her basically said the same thing… That as long as it was a site that kept up with view counts it didn’t matter where the international fans watched. I also asked if there was a specific place for them to do that, because I would also like to know. If there is, then we could make another announcement with that in mind.
Oops!😳 I had an editing typo… My apologies! That was meant to say, “I told her basically the same thing.”
Here is the updated announcement. I remembered that some Asian cultures see anything written in red as bad luck, so I changed that part and included the info about the other sites, as well as the Haemoo movie. 🙂
