Cumulative Sales: 291,970 albums sold total since it’s release on January 17th.
from a non-popular singer in SK ;P …. flipping my hair 😀
take note of that CJes, be sure to remind your production and marketing team next time,
no whatever, only sufficient album supply.
Cjes should know not to miss up with Kim Jaejoong next time!! 😉
a little more and he will hit the 300,000
Jae is a really powerful seller o.O!

Omg….jaejoong is selling almost 300k…that is really amazing!!!!hope he would sell 300k XD
Do they count sales in japan too?
Woah, for real. The power of Kim Jaejoong really!
Nice babe ,i hope cjes can do more albums so that more fans can buy , 300 here we come
Is this physical album sales? I remember reading a post ealier that the cumullative sales for ‘I’ is 149K and ‘Y’ is 62K for the 1st half of 2013. It does make sense that the cumulative sales doubled in July to 290K? Besides, the top 3 does not include any new July releases, such as Junsu & B2ST?
He sold 144,740 for I and 62,000 for Y..
Gaon was renewed last week and has some errors.
Conquering charts around the world.
I think they made a mistake tho, I heard Cjes only print total of 200.000 copies for both albums.
This needs to get straightened out before some loser antis open their dirty mouths!
Still proud of my Joongie after all this time he still on the chart selling albums. Congrats baby!
Now I want to see Xia on the chart too!
maybe they made new prints? jae’s popularity is immense in japan and china after all.
I doubt it’s only 200.000 copies to this day ….either it was originally more , or they released more .
Cjes like every other management company made use of media outlets to promote JYJ’s albums with headlines for sales and sold out .
and lest just remember that k-pop kiddos are always embarrassingly butthurt over EVERYONE that’s not their favorite ….so always expect the usual hate with the excuses ” I’m just telling the truth , y’all just delusional”
it’s highly unlikely cjes printed any more copies or they would have at least made it known. initial 120k of ‘I’ was sold out then they reprinted 20-30k (can’t rmb exactly), and then released 62k of ‘Y’ all of which was sold out. all added up, JJ’s max sales can only be 212k. plus, there’s no way JS or any of the long list of july comebacks are not on the chart. I would be happy for JJ if the information somehow turns out to be correct, but at the moment it is highly probable that it’s an error so it might be better to take this off the website for now before it spreads to other fansites.
In in gaon website…unlikely to be untrue…1reasonable explaination is they add japan sales as well
they have no reason to add japan sales. even if they do, that would raise the cumulative albums sold but the chart still doesn’t make sense. JJ sold all 120k albums in his first week alone. JS’s album has been out for two weeks so it should have sold >50k at the very least, which puts it above cnblue in the chart. not to mention, other artists such as exo, beast, infinite, hyunjoong, etc who also released their albums in july. gaon not only releases monthly charts but also weekly charts which were dominated by these artists in the last 4wks so it is simply not possible that they didn’t appear at all. this chart could be for smthg else entirely, it could be mislabelled…it’s not unheard of to have such mistakes even if it’s gaon. all I’m saying is we should be cautious of information from a single source and check it against the facts that we alr know. as of now, there are multiple indicators that the chart is erroneous, so it should be removed until we get further confirmation. that is just the right thing to do for any kind of news compilation.
quote: “it’s highly unlikely cjes printed any more copies or they would have at least made it known”
so cjes had to make some sort of announcement whenever they reprint certain amount of copies?
I believe this chart is most probably incorrect. ‘I’ is not even on Gaon’s weekly sales list in July, how can the total sales went from 145K to 290K in one month. I think it will be prudent to remove this post or we’ll get laughed at when the correction is made.
For those who are thinking its a mistake! Album “I” is still available in websites such as Kpopmart, Kpoptown, DVDheaven..etc AND “The charts are made up of charts tracking domestic album sales, international album sales and a combined overall album sales in weekly, monthly and year-end format” means Japan, china, america…etc are all counted !! (As everybody knows, Jaejoong is massively popular in Japan and outside Korea in general)
And 291,970 albums are the cumulative sales sold totally SINCE IT’S release on January 17th.
If Cjes had applied a sufficient supply of the album at the beginning of the album release then i would not be surprised if the sales hit 300.000+
Lastly this is a gaon website, no way its mistaken.
I would love to have the number to be correct. But the numbers just do not tie. It;s from the same Gaon chart (includes sales from all sites you mentioned) that the cumulative sales for ‘I’ at end of June is 145K. Now it says the cumulative sales at end of July is 290K with July sales being 18K. All these numbers are from the same chart and they do not add up. There is no way ‘I’ sales goes to 290K in one month. Just like @kexion mentioned, it does not make sense that none of the July releases made it to the chart.
if it’s indeed a mistake then don’t worry it will be fixed or explained soon ….people take sales numbers pretty seriously , so I think we can expect a confirmation of what’s this number is .
That makes more sense, I hope the numbers are correct….so efing proud of him oh gosh!
My guess is they combined i and y sales+ japan sales…then the number would makes sense…(plus the fact that he held his concert in japan recently..that could boost up more sales)
Gaon was renewed last week and not only JJ sales are mistaken ut Super Junior, CN Blue etc…July sales are not ever revealed, it will next thursday as always…
The url shows digital, perhaps this number includes digital sales?
If this number is true, congratulation Jaejoong, awesome!
Probably gaon havent finished calculating all the albums yet for july coz they only include january comebacks…and i cant to to july month after i looked at previous months..so prob that..dunt worry ppl..
Guys. instead of working up on those figures (it’s Gaon’s responsiblity to prove the credibilty on whatever they post on their website)
how about working up on this http://www.synnara.co.kr/sb/awardDetail?PAGE_ID=sb710Main&USE_TYPE=&COMMUNITY_ID=C0800004&STEP=S1&L_PAGE_NUM=1&L_TOT_PAGE_NUM=1
it’s a neck to neck fight against SM’s Shinee, so easy, one email-add=1 synarra ID=1vote, we just need more voters 🙂
Thank you.
and it doesn’t hurt if we make a lot of email-adds or borrow all our friends emails, they have just to press confirm and BINGO, 1 vote added…GOGOGO 🙂
So, he is #1 in Total sales…
Congratulations JJ…!!
I am always proud if you.
