MBC and KBS are in the middle of dispute due to casting cancellation of (actress) Kim YJ and JYJ, respectively. Kim YJ and JYJ who seem to stand on different grounds are in fact related to the same issue of being cast out by broadcasting stations. Kim YJ who approached a societal problem directly and JYJ who requested the change of an unreasonable system through their own problem are a little different but the same case.
Kim YJ and JYJ, blow your high kicks off, together with supporters.
Media controlled by MB government is, as pointed out by many, are making it their business doing evil as an absolute slave of the power. They have given up being media by forfeiting even the least value of media but allowing themselves to be used as a means by a small number of the powerful.
Entertainers who were actively engaged in election campaign of MB (president) are able to proudly appear on broadcasts while Kim YJ who spoke out in support of the weak in society is banned from broadcast appearance.
::::::::::
Such an undisguised pro-MB act of MBC in this later stage of MB government is being confronted by many intellectuals who started refusing to be appear on MBC, thus showing signs of developing into a social movement.
::::::::::
KBS, which was facing an extreme crisis due to secret recording scandal, is now being swept up by the scandal of casting out. As much that nobody believes their excuses behind such a happening, it is a well acknowledged secret that SM is behind all this.
::::::::::
The behavior of SM is repeating precisely the behavior of other evil large (Chaebol) corporations that are damaging Korea. They form a systemic group of the same interest protecting themselves, exercising their power, and try to control even broadcast media through their extended power, just like Chaebols did. Their tactic of crushing those who escaped from their grip to make sure no-survival is also the same.
::::::::::
Just like Kim YJ is banned, JYJ is also banned for the reason of standing up to the unreasonable tyranny of management companies. Both are good examples of being banned from broadcast for the reason of fighting against social injustice, thus reveal vividly what kind of road our broadcast media has been taking nowadays.
::::::::::
Fortunately, some reporters standing up to MB-appointed CEOs of broadcast stations in order to restore the role of media started raising their voices.
::::::::::
After committing such a crime of secretly recording internal meeting of the opposition party and turning it over to the ruling party, which is enough of a scandal to close down KBS, Kim IK (KBS CEO) went to Tokyo in order to support Hallyu promoting efforts of KBS? What an absolute absurdity!
::::::::::
Should we admire the boldness ignoring such a scandal as secret recording but going to watch concert or taking unlawful profit by making concert goods even without the consent of participating singers? They who keep singing of Hallyu but throwing JYJ away after taking advantage of them in regards to SM are really acting to promote Hallyu?
Only way to change the world going crazy is not the silence complying to injustice but action of requesting to make the wrongs corrected for a change.

at times like this .. i wish city hunter is real … sigh
i agree with you..
I also agree.
I agree also….
ditto
The invisible ruling hands from SKK and City Hunter are not mere comics and anime but depictions of reality.
Oh, u watch it too.. Yes, i wish he is real…
When i was watching CH, i just thought, well it is a movie… But now,,, Damn!
Don’t buy anything that belongs to them. Money is their power.
I agree, i already boycotted SME artists although i have nothing against them personally, but i cannot stomach the idea of SME using them as pawns nor them allowing SME to use them [ in case they are aware of it].
I aslo agree. Now I hate them very very very………much!!!
I love music, but The people involved is more important.
For the sake of JYJ and for the sake of the future of the artist I won´t support this company nor their artists…
So true! I’m not HoMin haters, but I hate SM. SM made me stop listening to their artist. The way they treat JYJ just make me hate SM, Avex and every damn broadcast company that banned JYJ!
totally agree. I dont hate the singers, but I feel giving, supporting and contributing in helping those evil companies to make profit is wrong
Several months ago, I wrote exactly what you’re saying to a similar article. I have nothing against SM artist, infact I am SuJu and Shinee fan, but to stop SM, stop supporting their artist and not buying any SM products. Someone wrote back and said I was a fool. To this day, nothing has changed, they are still trying to stop JYJ, but their antics and excuses are blatant and outrageous. They got away with murder and they don’t care who knows it because there are not consquences.
I am interested on how this issue will develop in Skorea. Will this continue to progress? I certainly hope and pray it will, so that justice will finally be served to the aggrieved parties, one of them are our dear JYJ. I will continue to journey with our boys, cross mountains and rivers with them.
I hope that this case will turn and become a little hole in the huge wall erected to defend the SME lies.
Once it is open is not enough to put a finger in, to prevent all lies to escape with the force of water that suddenly comes out of a dam, destroying everything in their path …
Damn. Sometimes I wish English was my native language to express myself clearly
You did quite well my friend with your English. I understood every sentiment you had. 🙂 Agree with them too.
me too! nice comment.
As annoying as the Tea Party phenomenom, the birther movement, and other and sundry smoke and mirror forces in my country; I defend their rights to be on the scene. Even though they create havoc, they are part of the fabric of the U.S. I don’t have to agree with them, or even like them. But this country stands on freedom of speech. Eventually, the dumbness of those of this ilk outweighs their effectiveness. Trying to deny a voice to those who go against the status quo is just wrong. NO civilized country engages in this kind of behavior.
The corrections will take place. They will have to if So. Korea wants to be taken seriously on the world stage. Authoritarianism in the guise of democracy is not something that can be hidden forever.
@BAF
I totally agree with you. For correction and change to happen, at least someone has to courageously and boldly stand up firm against the evil system and eventually snow ball change. That is why i admire JYJ so much and that i will continue to support them and their noble cause.
Why does the media situation in SK almost sound like the way Russia and China treats theirs? ‘You only print what you’re told to print’ – censored much. Are we sure NK hasn’t invaded SK? (*sarcasm on*)
this matter much people from asian and all the world know but they justice still can’t do anything
Is there justice inkorea?
i dont understand the whole “KBS recording a meeting secretly” & then turned it over to the media? someone help pls?
Apparently KBS secretly recorded meetings of the opposing political parties and handed them out to the currently ruling factions so they always knew what their opponents are planing.
Well, my guess was almost correct. Please read @sakana17’s explanation a little bit further.
I remember Jae’s tweet ” The world is like a coin.” and a coin has always two sides. That Jeju/kbs incident had blown really hard to JYJ and fans but in a way it serves as a catalyst for more public awareness for the existing societal injustices not only the JYJ’s case but to a bigger perspective. Sometimes, I have crazy thoughts that maybe the kbs head in-charge for that Jeju event is a JYJ sympathizer who’s feed up of this outside pressure and tried to frame-up sm (seems like a movie plot or like city hunter). Giving all those nonsense excuses after cancelling 4 days before the show was just so unimaginable for a person in a government broadcasting business who’s supposed to maintain a dignified and credible image. All the excuses were just illogical and giving the lawsuit as the last excuse is just like challenging the Korean court . They seem like voluntarily giving evidences to be used against them. (I maybe watching too much movies grrr)..but really, if this uproar could hasten JYJ’s case , I will thank kbs.
the unreasonable tyranny of management companies …
I found this situation really sad and so unfair! Not just because of JYJ but also for all the artists that maybe are afraid now of defending their riggts …
I hope that this situation will end soon …
JYJ fighting! ^^
1 thing that I don’t understand. What do MB gorvernment stand for????
Myung Bak, short for lee myung bak the current president of sk~
@kris..
Dunno why but that crazy tought of yours also come to me.. Maybe we watch too much drama.. But their act just so unreal for me..
@Viehaneul
Hello, you got a very classy name…
thanks you share my crazy thought, i think next time we’ll write a drama script for this.
wait…what was the other KBS “secret recording scandal”?
Seems the opposition political party had a closed discussion about the SKorea government raising the TV license fee which supports KBS, and the ruling party got a hold of a recording of this meeting. The article here is saying that KBS recorded the meeting secretly and handed the recording over to the ruling party. (The opposition party is against raising the TV license fee.) Basically saying KBS is corrupt. (No surprise!!) I found some info about it here: http://www.koreaherald.com/opinion/Detail.jsp?newsMLId=20110629000508
wow…it sounds exactly like City Hunter… 😛
This should be illegal!!!!!
SME so smart, they made their legal battle with JYJ turned into politics issues, so they can push some Medias to ban JYJ. So I don’t think if someday JYJ win the legal case, the ban thing will be solve.
Maybe the only solution is the other party win over the MB’s party in the next Presidential selection.
I don’t even consider SM as smart, they just are pure evil and dirty.
BOOOOO!!!!! KBS! SM! PMI! JEJU!!! SHAME ON YOU! BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
getting tired of being BOOO??? I help u dear..
KBS! SM! PMI! JEJU!!! SHAME ON YOU! BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
youth people who have a dream to be a star, don’t ever, ever ever,ever,ever. Get involve wit SME and becoming their slave. Please it’s for your sake.
anyway, i like this author… he/she rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
is she acting in Dae Jang Geum?..she looks familiar o_o..
How did the actrees save a house worker?
a very well written article^^ it spoke all my mind!! “They who keep singing of Hallyu but throwing JYJ away after taking advantage of them in regards to SM are really acting to promote Hallyu?”
LAW IS NOTHING in KBS and SM dictionary… They can play the law as they want..when they need the LAW, they use it without delay..and when they think Law can stop their dirty job,they throw away the LAW and playing innocent…Nowadays I think all KBS saying sound like bla-blaa-blaa…rubish-rubish-rubishhhhhhh!
ANd yet the court rule point that JYJ can do their activities although their law suit not done yet…Still Law in korea is a type of GAME to them..if Law was a ball,maybe SM and KBS can play them like Basketball..
“They can play the law as they want..when they need the LAW, they use it without delay..and when they think Law can stop their dirty job,they throw away the LAW and playing innocent”
well said my friend, and it’s sad because this is the worst reality.
