With both the VIP and Floor sections sold out, there are only 300 general tickets available for the K-Pop premier show.
After more than 30 hours of flight time and with 40 news reporters from their own country, the Korean group JYJ will arrive on March 7 to Santiago, being the first top pop Korean (also know as K-Pop) group to visit Chile.
This past Tuesday, JYJ member Park Yoochun posted on his twitter a picture of himself and fellow member Kim Junsu on the plane that will bring them to our country. “Well have a safe trip” he commented.
However, what has truly caught everyone’s attention from the picture uploaded is Junsu’s look, who is sporting blonde hair for his role in the musical “Elizabeth.”
In addition, as a way to excite their fans attending even more, it was announced that for their final stops of their world-tour, they will dance to a remix version of “Get Out” from their last album. For this reason, 6 dancers and 5 stylists also accompany them on their trip. Another interesting note is they have asked for a Chilean chef to cook traditional dishes from the country for their meals, as well as a Korean chef to make them feel at home, miles away, with their native dishes.
This Friday, March 9 will be the day the JYJ will preform in front of thousands of fans at the Caupolicán Threatre and confirming once again, the great media sensation that Korean music has achieved across distant countries, such as the United States, Japan, Chile and Peru, this being one of two final destinations of their tour.
JYJ is a group formed by members, JAEJOONG/YUCHUN/JUNSU, world-renowned singers of the group Dong Bang Shin Ki (東方神起) or simply TVXQ, whom are considered today’s best selling male-vocal group.
In 2011, the trio decided to partner with U.S. producers Kanye West and Rodney Jerkins to record their debut album “The Beginning.”
The first single, “Ayyy Girl” was produced by Kanye West, who also took part in the single with his vocals along with spoken word artist, Malik “Te Poet” Yusef .

“considered today’s best selling male-vocal group.” that is the truth

Lucky south american fans (yeah, lucky… I want to see Junsu’hair for real !!), please take care of the boys and have a fantastic show !! Now it’s your turn !!
Yes! JYJ is indeed the best selling male-vocal group today. Go JYJ, I know it would be awesome just like in Nokia Theater, LA last year…it was the best ever! We are so proud of you. JYJ Chile and Peru fans fighting!
whooo—-!
Be ready Chile to rock!
Spend quality time with JYJ. (envy~)

JYJ EN CHILE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SI!!!!
* with 40 news reporters from their own country
*being the first top pop Korean (also know as K-Pop) group to visit Chile.
* JYJ ……whom are considered today’s best selling male-vocal group.
These statements surely sore the eyes of the enemies, making them restless, thinking/brain storming/digging what can be thrown next to JYJ. Any Dispatch reporter is with them? Those 40 reporters may be composed of pro and con-JYJ so we better be prepared for any surprise our adversaries are cooking to downplay JYJ’s another monumental leap in Kpop history.
GOD BLESS JYJ and JYJ Fans.
i dont hope Dispacth to be there, cause they will be miscounting the audience… ckckck..
Dispatch = SM.
But who knows SoMeone paid some reporters to go to SA to take whatever they can manipulate to bring JYJ down. I think it’s a company mission statement “Bring JYJ Down”
kinda agree with u sis…let’s just hope it’s not like that..i hope that when they going back to korea,…all the articles they read is about they successful concert at neighborhood country…=)
^_____________^
“……whom are considered today’s best selling male-vocal group…” wow…wow…great.
I think JYJ is still sub group but it’s no problem if they are call a group coz they make a change for their country especially K-Pop. I hope it can make a change for Asian who’s trip to South America.
Damn the tickets are so cheap. I paid $200 for JYJ NJ concert plus hotel/flight. If only I was in Chile, I would buy tickets for my whole family & maybe even my extended families.
really??? that´s is no cheap for south american people…our salary is a lot lower than united states ones… 140 is close to the lower salary here
Yeah.. for Chileans its not cheap at all, keep in mind the cost of living there is different from the US. I went to the JYJ NJ concert too! Maybe I saw you there:) . Plus the currency is not in American dollar.
I agree. I was at the San Jose show(Chuns B-Day!) Tickets were about that, plus the flight from Anchorage and hotel~Worth every dime! If I could go this year to see them again~No question! 😀
Happy to hear they will be well taken care of!
Out of tis article, this pharse caught my eyes…..” 40 news reporters from their own country,”…..^^
